Very private 3+ acre property with two bedrooms, 1 bath and a 400 square foot Great Room. Wood covered walls, lots of windows, expensive leather furniture, unique art throughout, cable TV with ProLogic sound system, Wi-Fi. Two miles into town. There are many restaurants and stores and a brand new multiplex cinema. The town of Milford is eight miles South and is a magnificent historical destination. A complex of four canoe and raft and Kayak rental businesses are next door, but not visible from the home. A large deck with a BBQ grill fronts the entrance. The cottage is a great escape from the city. It is quiet, peaceful, and has a great zen feeling. I've personally spent many nights Bbq'ing and enjoying the amenities of the property and the neighborhood. The cottage is literally footsteps from the river, where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. You can also bike or walk through the neighborhood and take advantage of some of the breathtaking views the mountains have to offer. This location also has some really great restaurants if you feel like eating out, so you'll never go hungry. The cottage itself is well maintained and very comfortable. It's really hard to sum up all the great amenities the cottage, property, and location have to offer. I highly recommend staying and experiencing all that the property and neighborhood has to offer...

Hal is a great person to deal with, He will do his best to make sure any renter is happy with their stay. The cabin is on private property where we were able to have all the privacy we wanted while on our vacation. The River is footsteps away from the cabin so we were able to go kayaking and swimming on our own time. The kitchen is perfect to cook a nice meal. The large screen display in the living room is perfect for those "laid back nights". The fire place was easy to use, warm and very romantic. The cabin is practically "a home away from home" but with many more amenities to choose from. We can't wait till our return to this vacation getaway. We had an extraordinary time at this hot-spot.
