Driving to Ft. Myers one day on business, I decided to take a trip through Matlacha. I was immediately struck by the old town atmosphere, the beauty, and overall feel of this village. If you close your eyes and open them you'd swear you were somewhere in Key West. The natural beauty of the areas only accessible by boat was another attraction for me.
