This detached cottage is located two miles from the Peak District town of Matlock and sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Cuckoostone Cottage is a detached cottage next to the owner's home just two miles from the historic town of Matlock in the Peak District. The cottage has three ensuite bedrooms (two doubles and a twin) and is suitable for six people. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is off road parking for three cars and a small garden with views over the fields. With disabled access, Cuckoostone Cottage is a lovely holiday cottage in a wonderful area.

Small enclosed front gravelled garden with bench, rear patio garden with furniture and views over fields. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Dogs must be kept on leads when outside the property due to animals in the surrounding fields.
Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
Town: The Peak District town of Matlock was developed in the late 17th Century. Matlock offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a host of attractions. To the north are the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and Park.
All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Would definitely recommend.
This beautiful cottage had everything we needed with 3 en suite bedrooms which was essential as we had our 2 elderly mothers with us.
We had glorious weather which was the icing on the cake and enabled us to explore this lovely part of Derbyshire.
Will definitely return one day
