This top floor condo must have the best view of the entire complex. We spent five nights and didn't want to leave. Much of our time was spent on the large lanai where we had daily visits from a red cardinal. Yes, some may say this condo is dated but we loved the beautiful Hawaiian decor and weren't there to watch TV. The photos for this condo are great but it's even better in person. We hope to stay here again next year.

We recently returned home from 10 days at Mauna Lani Terrace D302. The location of the property is fabulous....close to the hotel, beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The view from the unit is second to none. Although the unit was generally very clean, it needs some updating and minor repairs. We would definitely go back to this unit and use the same management company in the future.

We usually stay at the Mauna Lani Resort and this year we decided to try the condo's at Mauna Lani Terrace. D302 was a great unit with perfect views and one of the best stocked kitchen I have seen in any vacation rental.

We've had the good fortune to visit the islands nearly three dozen times since the late '70's. We've stayed at luxury resorts and rented free standing homes and of course, numerous condos. From past visits we have learned there is a tendency of management companies to over promise and under deliver. Not so this time. Our experience with Marisa of Kohala Coast Properties was the best ever. She promptly responded to our needs and delivered a truly first class experience. The property condition and location were excellent and matched what the advertising promoted. We'll be back next year!

Unit next to us was under renovation. Jack hammering started Friday and continued on Monday and Tuesday, starting at 8 am and ending at 4 pm. It drove us away from apartment and made stay very uncomfortable. Nothing you can do but just bad timing for us. Master bed had plastic under sheets which was not selcome and barbeque area was too far away in our opinion.

Beautiful view, exquisite sunsets. Condo could use a modern entertainment system. Why would the owners have a thirty year old TV in such a magnificent condo ? Recently replaced router provides excellent wi - fi. KCP no ka oi.

We love the Mauna Lani Terrace property and the location. My husband and I have stayed on this property every year for more than ten years. This was our first time renting from Kohala Coast Properties. We chose D302 because of the price and won't do that again. We felt that the carpet was extremely dirty, the cupboards and what was in them was also very dirty, electronics and the interiors are dated. It wasn't up to the standards that we have grown to expect from the Mauna Lani.

D302 is a large unit with two bedrooms on opposite sides of the lay out (nice privacy) and two and a half baths. It was very comfortable for our family of four and much better than sharing a hotel room with the kids for a week. We appreciated being able to cook at home most nights since food in the area is expensive and not always great. Comfortable beds, lots of sheets and towels, large fairly well equipped kitchen and a nice outside grilling area that can be reserved. Great view of the ocean from the big lanai (we spent a lot of time eating, drinking and reading on the lanai.) There's a bit of a walk to the ocean or pool because the unit is in the middle of a "C" shape of other apartments -- not a problem unless walking is a health issue. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that the there are a lot of rules at the pool regarding noise, toys, food, etc. --not 100% kid friendly, but we worked around it. Beach club beach is amazing for snorkeling. Chaise lounges seem to be first come first served but we didn't have problems during President's week. Not far from the airport and a short drive from the shops at Waikoloa Beach and Wiakola Village (which has the best grocery store in my opinion). All in all a good choice for our Hawaii vacation.

The carpet was dirty, seemed uncleaned. 2 0f 3 toilets failed due to mechanical problems (chain broke), even after one was fixed. Also, had wi-fi problems. management company was reasonably responsive.

The Terraces were a fantastic location for our family vacation to the Big Island. Spectacular views, relaxing and convenient. It was truly a home away from home, but in Paradise! KCP did a great job - Mahalo to Marisa and Alesia. You guys are terrific! The best endorsement we can say is, "we're coming back!"
