Hats off to Dave and Sandy, owners of H303 Mauna Lani Terrace! What can we say to do it justice? Top floor with 200 degree view of beach, ocean, ancient royal fish ponds with jumping fish, and gorgeous palms. Not another unit with such a view. Secure and private, being on the end of the building. The location of the H building is the most convenient, a short walk to both beaches, the swimming pool, and the hotel. Snorkeling was fantastic! The modern but comfortable decor and furnishings of the condo added to the ambience. My wife likes to cook so the gourmet kitchen with granite tops and new appliances was heaven, particularly with the kitchen view of the ocean and a martini in hand. This was our second visit and there is now a super grocery store on the resort with anything you need for cooking and drinks. So convenient. Dave and Sandy are the best of hosts! Available and helpful, but giving you space a privacy. And if you meet Susan, the housekeeper, it just adds to the Hawaiian experience and hospitality. Just don't take our dates . . . as we will defintely be back.

This property is all that it promises - a wonderful slice of paradise. Owners are extremely cooperative and responsive. The condo is beatifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Excellent location, with access to private beach club. Hardest part... leaving. Will be back.

We have stayed in different units at this property over the years, and this one is right up there as one of the best. It is well furnished, stocked with useful amenities and working with Dave was a pleasure. He was always accessible and responsive with questions. You can't go wrong by booking this unit.

I had the great pleasure of staying at Dave and Sandy's penthouse condo at Mauna Lani Terrace recently. I shouldn't say condo, as this was more like relaxing at someone's fine home with the most stunning of views and settings. This corner unit is filled with light from every angle and views everywhere. Nearly every room had views that overlook the historic and majestic Hawaiian fish ponds with the ocean waves just beyond. I have actually stayed at many ocean view properties and prefer this view over them because of the diversity of the view, all the while keeping the magnificence of the Pacific Ocean in close range.
As if the view was not enough, the upscale, tasteful decor and rennovations throughout - including the new gormet kitchen - create the ambiance of a 5 star plus hotel, yet offer the relaxing element of a private home. I particularly enjoyed staying on level three at the top of this complex because of the security and privacy it offered, no one above you and nothing to block your views.
From the walks on the beach spotting numerous green sea turtles, to the fantastic snorkeling in the bay, to sitting on their large, wrap-around balcony while sipping a glass of wine and listening to their wonderful music, all the while watching the the palm trees sway to the music and the view....you cannot go wrong with this rental! I found renting directly from Dave and Sandy to be an easy and very pleasurable experience.
I highly recommend renting this unit on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is a true respite from the hectic world and is perfectly located along one of the most stunning coasts of Hawaii, the Kahala Coast. -

We stayed at the Mauna Lani Terrace H303 condo last week. The condo is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything you will need is there. My teenage boys loved the big comfy couch. Beach access is easy, great SCUBA and snorkling right out the door. Fabulous sunsets from the lanai. Restaurants are within walking distance or an easy drive. The owners are gracious and easy to work with. We will definitely come back again!
