Villa Kalodyne is in the north of the Island, 80 meters from the beach and can accomodate up to 6 people.

The villa is build slightly above sea level and gives you a beautiful view on the lagon from all bedrooms, bathrooms, livingroom and terrasses.

The property has 1800 m².

The first shopping facility is within walking distance. There is also a vegetable market next to the little supermarket basing hill.

The beautiful view from the big terrace and silence around the house will give you quiet and peaceful moments to enjoy.

The owner Roger , lives on the ground level, giving you the advantage of having a well in...formed source of island information at hand. Your privacy is secured if you like to enjoy a quiet holiday.

The 240 m² Villa has 3 bedrooms, one of them is a penthouse jardin du cap www.coindemire.net.

ALL BEDROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITION

Bedroom1: 1 double bed and shower/wc en suite

Bedroom 2: each with 2 single beds (can be put together) and shower/wc en suite

Penthouse with 1 double bed , 1 bathroom with bath tube and wc and little livingroom with minibar

The other rooms of the villa are: 1 big living / dining room 1 big kitchen, laundry, separate wc.

1 Baby cot with moskitonet and 1 high chair available

The Pool , 5 x 12 m and its charming little grotto with waterfall are very inviting for sunbathing or for nice cocktail evenings. It is surrounded by a nice stone wall and flowers; the access to the pool can be closed for children's safety if needed.

80 Meters from the house is a little beach. From there you can walk through the water to the little Island opposite. The water is not higher than 1,20 meter. We'll give you a little boat for a child towels and and picknick basket. (max. 60 kg),

Nearby:

Small Supermarket, 100 meters, bigger Supermarket 400 meters away, hairdresser.

Grand-Baie is 20 minutes and Pereybere 15 minutes by car where you'll find many Restaurants, Bars, Discos, Supermarkets und Internet Café, Banks ect.

Nearby are the Hotels Legends, Le Marina, Calodyne sur mer where you can enjoy Watersport, Golf, Tennis, Diving, Spa, beauty salon usw.

The beaches:

1) Grand-Gaube (to the west) at 3km.

2) Anse la Raie (to the east) at 4km, great for kite-surfing only.

3)      Péreybère (to west) at 9km. Very good bathing with fine sand. Full of people on weekends and empty during the week.

Renting of long chairs possible.

Watersports, diving schools, boat trips, glass bottom boat ect. Restaurants, Bars, Pizzeria…

4) Grand-Baie (to west) at 11km. Oposit of the Commerciale Bank. Nice Beach, Watersports, diving, boat trips, Catamaran to ile au Gabrilel for barbecues, or for a cocktail while watching a sun set.

Many shops, Restaurants around Sunset Boulevard, 1 minute from the beach. Big Super U at 5 minutes walk.

5) Mont Choisy (west) at 19km. The longest beach of the Island; Very busy during the weekend and calm during the week. Long chairs to rent available.

6)  The nicest beach where we go is « La Cuvette » in Grand-Baie between the Yacht Club and the Royal Palm Hotel. It is a small bay with shower, toilet facilities and  1 Restaurant or littlle snacks where you will get your Coconutjuice fresh out of the fruit. Parking ! No watersports.

Bed sheets and towels are provided for the house and pool..

  Nous avons loué à 6 personnes (dont deux enfants) la villa Kalodyne entre Noël et Nouvel an 2012/2013.
  La villa est construite à la Mauricienne et chaque chambre est très lumineux, spacieux et à son propre salle de bain. La piscine, mais aussi toutes les chambres et le jardin sont propres et bien entretenu.
  Grace à nos deux Mauriciennes, Daisy et Roshni, nous avons pu déguster des succulents plats à la mauriciennes et leur gentillesse nous a très touchés. Un grand merci à Roger, qui est le propriétaire de la villa, et qui habite dans la même maison, mais qui reste très discret. Ces renseignements nous ont beaucoup aidés de découvrir l'ile Maurice hors les grands appâts touristiques.
  Le seul bémol ? Devant la villa il y a un hôtel en construction, mais les travaux devront se terminé pour septembre 2013. Le chemin pour aller au bord de la mer est actuellement encore coupé par les travaux, mais selon Roger il gardera un chemin d'accès.
  Nous pouvons que conseiller de louer cette villa et de passer un magnifique moment avec les habitants sur cette ile paradisiaque.
