Description

A warm welcome awaits you in our tranquil two hundred year old restored farmhouse Bed and Breakfast / Chambre d`Hotes.

La Cloue is situated on our 15 acre smallholding with great views over the valley. We have a large organic vegetable garden, an orchard and free range poultry.

The prices are for 2 persons in 1 En-suite Double bedroom per night, (we do have 4 letting rooms)

The charming Petite Medieval town of Lassay Les Châteaux, with shops, cafe`s bars and restaurants to enjoy, is just 2km away, with its Châteaux open to the public.

We are in the North of Mayenne, in the Normandy Maine National Park / Pays de la Loire

We have 4 En-suite Double bedrooms, 1 with a extra single bed, suitable for a family or 2 companions travelling together. We have a ground floor bedroom suitable for less able or disabled persons, or for those who wish to bring a dog, it has direct access outside and fenced patio.Central Heating, guest lounge with tv, tea and coffee making facilities.

Start the day with a continental breakfast of home made bread, jams and local butter.

Two or three course evening meals are available by arrangement, and wine, beer, cider or soft drinks are included with dinner. A vegetarian option is available if pre booked. Meals are prepared using produce from our own garden or local produce.

Bicycle are available for you to use

We have a Bowling Green.

Cider / Calvados tasting nearby.

Only 90 minutes from Caen ferry port.

The Medieval town of Domfront is 20 minutes away.

Le Mans 90 minutes.

There is a swimming Lake 20 minutes, or an outdoor swimming pool in Lassay or 15 minutes, at the Lovely Spa town of Bagnoles de la Orne, also a Golf course and a casino.

At Jublains there are the remains of a Roman Town, Baths and amphitheatre.

There is a Châteaux at Carrouges and a visitors centre for the Park.

Fishing, horse riding, canoeing/kayaking, tennis, velo rail, walks, boat trips in Mayenne, and another Châteaux.
