I had never been to Mexico. It was a delight to experience the culture and have a safe place to stay, right by a beautiful beach and with a pool right outside the door. Breathtaking sunsets. Made friends with neighbors and explored the town. This condo is bright, fun, nicely decorated, modern and a great deal!

Orange, CaFive Stars! Amazing Condo!
Left on 06/03/2010 for a stay in February 2010
Mazatlan is paradise! Staying at this condo was just what I needed to recuperate from non-stop stress. A week was not enough, but the peaceful solitude really rejuvenated me. The place has everything you need from linens to dishes. I really enjoyed soaking in the sun by the lovely clean pool with a perfect temperature. There are plenty of beach toys, rafts, etc. at the condo for use at the pool or beach. The beach is only a couple steps from the pool. I liked the lounge chairs, really comfy. I did go into the city of Mazatlan where the hotels are, called Golden Zone, did some shopping and had a fantastic lunch at Inn at Mazatlan. I used to stay there years ago. Try their restaurant, seriously, not for the food as much as for the experience. So, yes, I would recommend this condo to anyone as long as you have transportation. The privacy is worth the price of a car rental, trust me. Cheers!

Las VegasThe sunsets are truly stunning in this part of the world!
Left on 06/03/2010 for a stay in April 2010
The condo is just right on the beach, overlooking the beautiful sunsets every night. You can't beat the solitude and relaxation. The condo is fully equipped with every amenity. I stayed in april 2010 and I will go back for sure. The people who live in the building, all americans and Canadians, are super helpful and know every great restaurant in town! We loved the pool area and the landscaping, too. Really is cool to be away from Mazatlan Gold Zone as last year we couldn't spend a moment on the beach because of "sellers" bugging every second. Here you have the beautiful sand all to yourself. When you want the crowds, fun and touristy environment you can get to town in ten minutes. This place can't be beat. I highly recommend it for a couple who wants privacy. The sunsets are truly stunning in this part of the world!

Las VegasUnbelievable Comfort & Relaxation Time
Left on 05/27/2010 for a stay in November 2009
I am not usually the type to leave a review, but after an incredible getaway with the hubby- I have to share my experience of the magnificent Mazatlan postcard palace. Upon our arrival to the pristine vacation spot (this coming from a hand sanitizer addict) all my fears turned to feelings of romance. The most incredible sunset greeted us and the dip in climate controlled pool made me know I wouldn't want to leave. We felt so relaxed to know that the rental was gated and peaceful wave watching awaited us. My honey ended up canceling his golf day to spend the afternoon soaking up the unbelievable view. With an in-room phone and major selection of movies we hardly knew we left the comfort of the States...until the sunset on the second night. My camera ran low on battery trying to capture the beauty. I fully recommend this vaca experience to anyone who needs to de-stress. We already have our next reservation. I know you can't do re-do's but this experience was one I would like to repeat over and over and over...

My husband and I finally took time to get away to Mexico. We couldn't have
chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived, the tension of our
stressful city life went away. It was late in the afternoon and the sun was
setting over the pristine water just feet away from our balcony. We sat and
marveled at the beautiful landscape around us. Just what the doctor ordered.
After the sun went down we went inside to the well appointed condo. I really
liked the decor. I think that if I had decorated it, it would be exactly the same.
It was so nice to see my husband finally relax and just sit and talk. Just the
sound of the waves and the smell of the fresh salt air around us. Truly
Paradise! We didn't want to leave. -

Park City, UtahBEACH FRONT SUNSET VIEW MAZATLAN CONDO
Left on 05/10/2010 for a stay in March 2007
The location of this beautiful unit is ideal. It is situated in a quiet, immaculately maintained condominium complex with a lovely swimming pool nearby. The unit faces the ocean with a 180 degree view of the water, waves, dolphins and sunsets. You can walk for miles along the white-sand beach or ride the challenging surf. Or spend hours just reading and snoozing in the hammock hanging in the sun room. It is just a short drive via car or cab into the Mazatlan Gold Zone for shopping and dining and is not far from the beautiful five-star Puerto Bonito Mazatlan Resort. It is an ideal spot for a romantic get-away or a quiet reprieve from the hussle of everyday life -- a place to recharge and nourish your body and soul.

Left on 05/10/2010 for a stay in January 2008
One bedroom condo, ideal for two people but could accomodate an additional 1 or two children. Well appointed kitchen facilities but bathroom is less than private. Full view of the ocean and the sunsets. Very nice swimming pool area for all ages. No life guard.
Condo situated some distance from recreational activities so a motor vehicle is almost essential. Somewhat isolated but the condo complex is gated. Road access is quite dusty and not that well maintained.
Generally found the area relatively quiet except for the regular railway train traffic that runs along side the gravel road. My wife and I enjoyed the relative quiet and the long walks along the beach gathering seashells.

Owner
Thanks for the review. You folks stayed there three months each year for three years and often told me how much you loved the place. I know it has been a few years since you stayed and many upgrades have been made since then. The bathroom is inside the bedroom and plenty private for a couple. This review makes it sound like it's open to an outside window. It's not. The toilet and shower are blocked by a stand alone closet. Just shut the bedroom door and it is totally private. The train only goes by twice per day and with the window open and the waves crashing, it is hardly noticeable. In fact, I never notice it when I'm staying there. You will notice it the first day or two, but after that it just blends in with the waves. If it was as annoying as this review makes it sound these units wouldn't be owned and lived in by picky Americans and even pickier Canadians. The fact that this reviewer stayed for months at a time and returned three times should demonstrate how he truly felt about the unit.

I loved the location of this nice beach front property and the
hospitality of the maintenance staff. The living room is decorated with
fun colors and patio looks right at the beach. Big tub for soaking bath
and separate bedroom with two twins or make into a King. The neighbors
were friendly and we ended up having Thanksgiving dinner with another
family there. The kitchen is nicely equipped and it is a very relaxing
environment. It was nice to have internet access as well. -

Salt Lake City, UTIncredible beach, incomparable seclusion
Left on 05/10/2010 for a stay in March 2010
I love traveling down to Mexico any time from Feb-April. The weather is absolutely fantastic and Mazatlan is a great blend of Mexican culture and tourist amenities. However, it's never been as nice as my last stay when I decided to rent a condo in "Nuevo Mazatlan." I was a little worried initially about the location, but once I realized I was going to have a private beach with no peddlers and almost nobody else around, I was ecstatic! This condo sits overlooking the ocean and the pool, both of which are almost always free of people! You do have to rent a car to stay here as it's not convenient to take the bus (though possible), it is completely worth the seclusion. The condo itself has everything you need and the staff there was very friendly and helpful. The manager speaks English and was more than happy to give us guidance and recommendations on where to go/what to see etc. Highly recommended.
