Romantic cottage (located approximately 15 miles from our office) suited for two, 1 queen bed in ladder-accessed Loft (The library ladder access is a challenge for some, if you suffer from any physical limitations we would not suggest this cabin), efficiency
kitchen with toaster oven & microwave, but no oven. Also has a satellite tv, a gas fireplace, 4-person hot tub, shower, no phone, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, & porch swing. A Unique Little Getaway. 4 wheel drive may be needed in winter conditions.

The Love Shak was a quaint cabin we rented for the weekend at the last minute. We had a very relaxing, romantic time. The bed in the loft was super comfy and the fireplace was tranquil. We also soaked in the hot tub on Sat. nite and it was awesome!
The only complaint we would have is that there was some digging in the yard that they had recently done that we were not informed about and it did make a mess to walk through, but other than that it is beautiful there, quiet, and very peaceful. -

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed a very relaxing experience. We had massages that were absolutely amazing!!! Our only issue was a critter in the vent in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was a mess from the critter in its nest, and after cleaning it up, each morning it was a mess again. We could hear it rustling around at night. No big deal, we were after all in the wilderness. Would definately recommend and stay again.

We rented this cabin as a one year anniversary getaway for two days. I enjoyed it for that purpose. Any longer than 3 days and I would have not been happy without a full kitchen. The loft is cozy but would get annoying after a few days of moving the ladder over and back. I also didn't like how close the next rental cabin was to ours. You drive all this way on these back roads to find someone next to you. I would not recommend this particular property for a honeymoon but would suggest looking into something slightly bigger. We chose this partly because we could bring our 2 dogs and were happy with that, though we couldn't let them off leash at all. Great choice for a weekend getaway... hiking is beautiful. Everyone was very nice and cabin was very clean. Pictures on website are very true to what you get... feels a little smaller than it looks.

We absolutely loved the cabin, and hiking the caves. The area is just beautiful! We will definitely be back sometime!! We enjoyed the peaceful nights as we fell off to sleep. Thank you so very much!!

the service was short and sweet. Everything was ready to go when we got there and the staff was helpful and friendly. The cabin was clean and had everything you might need for your stay. the cabin was in avery secluded location and the area was very quiet. probably the best thing was the hot tub outside under the stars.

We loved our stay at the Love Shak. The cabin was
nice and cozy. We had so much fun we are hoping to
make this an annual trip. Although I think our stay
will be at a cabin that is not so far away from the
local activities. We were hoping for a secluded
cabin, and didn't realize how close it was to the
Barn.
