What an amazingly beautiful stay. This was a perfect cabin for us! It has super charm with an adorable dutch door and log crafted window screens. It was an authentic warm-honey log cabin atmosphere.(Check out the pics!) We fished from the deck that overlooks the river and sat in the shade under the trees listening to the water tumbling over the river bottom... How could it been any more blissful? They recently updated this cabin to be very comfortable and clean. Thank you for having us, it was awesome! Thumbs UP!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Martins. Just a really neat cabin, neat location, and fair price. The management in town was very polite, professional, and helpfull. The dock down at the lake was nice, no one nearby had access like martins. The town of McCall is just down the road, Pauls Market is 5 minutes away so it was nice bringing back food and having a full kitchen available. It got up to nearly 85 outside, but we stayed fairly cool in the cabin which was surprising since it doesnt have AC. Overall cleanliness was satisfactory,I was worried about that enlight of previous reviews, but the cabin was clean. We spent most of our time chilling on the main deck listenning to the river. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Boise, IDGreat Cabin!!
Left on 09/13/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We stayed at this cabin in mid-Sept 2011, and had a great time. It really has a rustic log cabin feel, and it was nice being on the river. The cabin was clean, linens well laundered, and it was very nice, it served us well. The owners likely built the
property themselves several years ago, so they may have exhausted their energy resources in terms of making some more improvements to the property. It's obvious there has been alot of hard work put into constructing this cabin, but a few improvements are likely
in order. If it was my cabin, here's what I would change. The main thing I would do is add a nice fire pit for roasting marshmellows in the current front yard flower garden. Right now there is a nice "porch swing" and a spring flower garden in front. Change
carpet to hard wood floors and put in nice new rugs throughout entire cabin. New furniture in the living room. Tile in the bathrooms. Dish washer and garbage disposal. Go to Walmart or Ridley's and buy a new set of pots, pans, and silverware. Throw away the
old chipped up pots and pans. Stock the cabin with tons of paper towels. Have a professional construct staircase to upstairs so it's up to code. Absolute must is improved patio furniture, including extra comfortable lounge chairs / Chaise lounges so you can
sleep away the afternoon listening to the river and the breeze if you so desire. We stayed in summer, but in winter with kids upstairs, they are likely going to want to watch movies upstairs between snow activities outside. Of course, nearly every property
can be improved in someway or another, and this list is mainly knit picky type things that I would do. Overall, this cabin is very comfortable and nice. -

Great location on the river. Great deck and views. Rustic cabin that was very fun but really needs some TLC and updating particularly in the kitchen.

The cabin was perfect. Loved the deck right over the river. The mother bear with her 2 cubs going through the garbage cans was the highlight of our trip. Mccall, Idaho is beautiful. The only drawback was the time it took us to get there but than it was a beautiful drive.

Elko, NVHorrible Experience
Left on 07/11/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We have stayed in many rental cabins and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The apartment was filthy, spider webs inside, dead flies and other bugs, huge holes in the screens, the decks were filthy with barbecues left with old food in them. The bedding was dirty and smelled horrible. There was no AC and you couldn't open the doors because the screens had holes in them and you would get hounded by the zillion mosquitos. Do not stay here, we left early after a very unsatisfying weekend where we could not reach management.

Would really have liked a dishwasher. Didn't have enough face towels. The wood burning stove was great for generating heat. The sound of the river was calming.
