Not only is it located for its Mountain view, but it is also conveniently located for close access to the Wisp and the Adventure Sports Center. This home is great for a family gathering or any other vacation you had in mind. The basketball court, screened in porch and pool table are some other features that set this house apart. Family Love
Logan, WV (live in MD)Good Times at Mountain R.
Left on 04/17/2013 for a stay in April 2013
The place was a great meeting place for my families from oh, MD, and WV. We enjoyed the space and the view was beautiful. The only things was missing was no activities to do ( a lot of things was not open). The patio where the grills were located was not in good shape. All in all it was great and we will be back for a week.

Windsor Mill, MDResplendent Rendezvous
Left on 10/23/2012 for a stay in October 2012
My friends and I have been renting homes in Deep Creek for the past 9 years and this is by far our favorite. The views are spectacular, the decor inviting and comfortable and the location is outstanding. The only two things I would change are to add more seating in the Great Room (perhaps an overstuffed chair instead of the bench) and to have basic cable in all of the bedrooms. My hat goes off to whomever stocked the kitchen as it was easily the most well appointed (measuring bowls, cups, pots/pans, etc.) we have ever come across.

Silver Lake, OHGreat family home!!
Left on 09/20/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Twelve of our family stayed at this house for a Labor Day week-end. We found the house to be comfortable and easy for a large crowd. The kitchen is great for cooking, we could all sit at the dning rooom table, and the bedrooms offer privacy. The house is really pretty and cozy - not cold like so many rentals. Views from the decks and great. All in all, a great rental!

this home has an outstanding view. On a sunny day you can almost see the entire lake area. The master bedroom is incredibly comfortable. The home has a lot of games and one thing we didn't know, speakers throughout the home!!

Annapolis, MDA wonderful, comfortable house with an amazing view
Left on 01/12/2011 for a stay in January 2011
We spent a great weekend skiing with friends and family at the Mountain Rendezvous. The house is cozy and well stocked with games and puzzles that kept our crew entertained. A short walk to the slopes to ski although our novice skiers preferred driving to the top to start on terrain that was a bit more mellow than Main Street. The view of the lake and valley is wonderful.

Wheaton, ILA perfect family vacation house!
Left on 08/25/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We were a group of 15--8 adults, 7 children from 13 to 2yrs. Plenty of room and things to do for all. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for a large group, plenty of dishes, etc. The view of the lake and hills was gorgeous and the outdoor space of large decks and a screened porch was perfect. All in all the best vacation rental we have had for the family.

Edgewater, MDGorgeous home, no humidity , and lots of fun!
Left on 08/16/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This was a nicely decorated, well equipped, comfortable house with great amenities ( hot tub, pool table, fire pit, basketball hoop, etc.), and plenty of space for a crowd. The mountain top location would be great for skiing, but is also extremely close to the adventure Sports Center and Wisp, and only a short drive to restaurants and State Parks. The bunk room was great for the kids, and the master suites were spacious and comfortable for the adults. The deck had a fantastic view of the lake ! We found plenty of activities to keep us busy in the area, but also had plenty of "downtime" enjoying the house and its perks.

Chantilly, VAGreat vacation house
Left on 06/30/2010 for a stay in June 2010
The inside of the house was clean and spacious. The family room was very cozy and inviting with the gas fireplace. It was also well stocked with all the essentials you would need on a vacation. Our only desire was to have more than just the basic channels in the bedrooms and some privacy blinds in the kitchen/dining room. The neighbors are very close. The outside of this house was another story. It is in desperate need of painting. The deck furniture was plastic and was well worn and broken. The deck had not been cleaned for the summer, so it was filthy and spider webs were all over the chairs and door ways. The hot tub was also very basic (maybe a dozen or so jets)and broken during our stay. It would trip the breaker and shut off, so every time we went to use it, the water was cold. The jacuzzi bath tub in the master bedroom is much nicer. For a house that sleeps 16, I would have expected a hot tub and deck furniture that would accomodate more than 4 people. The screened in porch was also very nice, but we had to scrub the table, chairs and floor before we could even use it as they were filthy. The sliding door screens for the entire house were also laying in piles on top of the furniture. With the amazing views from the house (definitely has to be some of the best on the lake), we spent a lot of time on the deck, so to have it be so uninviting was unfortunate. If the outside of the house was upgraded (new cushioned furniture, clean, new/bigger hot tub, painted), this house would receive 5 stars. It has potential, but needs some work.

VirginiaAwesome as usual!
Left on 12/20/2009 for a stay in November 2009
For several years my husband and I along with at least three other couples take off for a long weekend at Deep Creek. As usual, our weekend was awesome. This year we stayed at Mountain Rendezvous for the first time. Our house was clean and stocked with amenities galore! The weather was crisp and foggy in the morning but as the sun came up over the mountains the fog burned away and we appreciated the mountaintop view as we drank our coffee. We had an issue with firewood but the helpful staff quickly took care of it. Our only inconvenience was the broken ice maker. The freezer was stocked with ice trays so we weren't inconvenienced that much. We are looking forward to next fall already! Thanks for a another great experience.
