We loved this place! Highly recommend it!! Plenty of space and the way the floor plan is so nice and open everyone is able to hang out together. They have ping pong, air hockey and Miss Pac Man! Kept us entertained!! They even have board games for guest use. The place was extremely clean and fresh. The hot tub was amazing and its in a great location so you have a breathtaking view whie you are in it. Also, its only a few minutes to drive to the slopes.

The house was perfect and very cozy! The view was gorgeous, and the loction was within walking distance of an expert slope. It slept 10 comfortably, but the others were on couches or pullouts.I would not recommend using the pullout couches for beds though.
Although we were there amidst the polar vortex, we enjoyed using the grill on the deck...however, it ran out of propane after one use:(
Otherwise, it was a perfect long ski weekend getaway!

This house has a perfect location in the Highline area with spectacular views of the McHenry end of the lake. House has three levels and a lot of space for families/groups.

Enjoyed and want to take again next year, but haven't heard if possible yet. Need to know fairly soon as leaving country first of March.
Biggest complaint was TV in main room - important to watch New Years games - was located high up near ceiling and not center. Need to relocate TV. Also would be helpful if one chair in main room was a comfortable one - husband needs chair, not coach.
Too much dog poop! Poop in yard so kids could not sled! Poop on back porch - yucky - poop in MS Pacman room behind Pacman - triple yucky.

Couldn't have been happier with the experience. Wish it was directly on the slope, but it was in such close proximity that it didn't matter. The views were amazing, the house was nice and relaxing... nothing bad to say about it. Thanks!!!

Family members drove from Illinois, Michigan, and Virginia to meet at this beautiful home for Thanksgiving. The home had great amenities, a gorgeous view of the mountains, and everyone had fun. We enjoyed all the comforts of home.

Great property; however there were three areas of possible improvement. The biggest problem experienced was, even though this was a no smoking property, one of the bedrooms had obviously been smoked in by the previous guest. The smell was horrendous and it was NOT adequately corrected during our stay. Secondly, I might suggest replacing the sofas with sofas a little more comfortable (cushions were worn down). Lastly I suggest adjusting the vents so that the basement level is not so cold especially in the bedrooms and the bathroom. It was cold to the point of being uncomfortable. Five Stars for the amenities, they were great, you thought of everything!!!
Highly recommend-Amazing views

Ok, this place has an amazing view of the lake. You can certainly tell from the web site but you don't fully appreciate it until you are there. It is also incredibly well stocked with everything you might need to enjoy your stay. Perfect place for two families as there are two king bedrooms and two more bedrooms for the kids to use. Kids has fun with ping pong and air hockey. Taylor-Made staff was terrific at addressing any issues and answering questions. My only complaint and it is a minor one but there should be written instructions on how to use the TV/DVD players. There are multiple remotes and not all the TVs work the same way. We had trouble playing DVD movies on one of them. Also VHS player appears broken and that is confusing since there are a bunch of VHS tapes available for use. Would also help to post a note that the Ms. Pac-man game does not work. Again, overall, great place to stay.

Kitchen appliances and grill were less than Good Will acceptable. TV’s,though plentiful are small analog units some limited to VHS. Fireplace is difficult to use in a safe manner w/ tools and screen provided. View is magnificent! Read more

Hi Stephen. Thank you for the review and we will talk with the owner about doing some upgrades with the grill and TVs. The dishwasher is brand new a couple of months ago, but I will get an kitchen inventory to make sure it is updated and upgrade some of the smaller appliances.

I feel that the management co needs to step it up a bit. The place needed a lot of attention. The cleaning co also needs to be reavaluated. The only thing that we liked about the place was the location and the layout of the home. An exterminator would be helpful there too because we saw roaches on 3 separate occaions. Read more

This week we received a little over 2 feet of snow. The driveway was plowed and the steps shoveled prior to arrival. The renter called and asked for us to chip away all the ice and snow from the driveway to show the pavement and all decks to be completely shoveled. Chad and Joe went up to the property promptly and shoveled all of the decks, even though this not something we normally do, and removed most of the snow (just to get another foot that night). They were upset about the TVs and DirecTV with it being over the holidays we moved TVs around to suit them because we could not get anyone to come and fix them over the holiday. Chad even hooked up their game station and showed them how to switch out the wires for the DVD player and the Wii.

I had a great stay in the Eagles Wings, it was cozy and a great way to spend with family and friends! I would recommend this house to everyone who is looking to have a fun and relax. The house was super clean on the day I arrived and the drive to the Wisp resort was 2 minutes away! Everytime I think about our stay I smile! I will be back in the spring to experience all the outdoor activities. Read more

Family Fun at Deep Creek

This summer was our family's first vacation to Deep Creek,MD and it lived up to our expectations. 'On Eagle's Wings' was the perfect house to accomodate all our needs....very nicely furnished, good layout, central location and great views. The decks were great (loved the hammock)and the views fantastic. The location was very central to good restaurants and fun activities, especially the 4th of July fireworks display which we watched from the house.
While there, we were pleased to learn that the house name, 'On Eagle's Wings' referenced the Bible, so we felt very blessed there.
The staff at Taylor-Made Realty made our check-in and check-out very easy and an adjustment to the hot-tub was prompt and convenient.
My only complaint about our time at Deep Creek was the unseasonably cool, damp I'm putting in a request for warm weather for next year....we'd love to come back to 'On Eagle's Wings'.

hot tub was not ready to go for our early check-in, main water supply to house had not been turned on, dishwasher has small maintenance glitches, dusty walls. Those minor items aside, we thought the house, maintenance, management, and everything else was fabulous. We would not hesitate to stay here again and will book through Taylor-Made!

The only thing else i would want would be a notice that the ski-in/ski-out leads to the black diamond, But since there was no snow in the backyard everything is A.O.K.
