This is my second time renting this unit. I did not appreciate the extra 12 miles I had to drive because I couldn't pick up the keys before 5:00pm. I was very disappointed that the office hours were not extended on Firday's to accomodate those of us who have to work to afford a weekend get-a-way! This will be a deal breaker for a potential return visit.

We had a great time staying at this house with gorgeous views of Deep Creek lake. The home was clean, spacious, and updated with all the amenities you need. I highly recommend this place if you want a great place to stay.

This unit probably had more appeal when it was first built -the wear and tear of renters with skis and large families is showing. The carpet needs replaced, walls could use touch-ups. And the owners have not invested in key items, like new televisions. The unit also lacks a dining table which is awkward.
The view is fine but looks out on a very busy part of the lake and you cannot see the sunset or sunrise.
Prob. a better bet for a winter visit.
A big plus for our family was the neighborhood pool & park which is very nice and quiet.
Strange location - not a walking area though convenient drive to area attractions like the white water course.
Overall, overpriced. -

The view was eye opening, the hot tub was appreciated after a day on the snow, the home overall has a good lay out, the funiture was comfortable, very kid friendly. I would suggest shuttle service be added to the pumphouse area. I would pay to be able to walk out my door ski boots on and be dropped slope side.

Loved the condo..the views were breathtaking. No snow around but was still able to ski at wisp resort due to manmade snow. Check-in was very easy and the staff was very helpful. One of our fireplaces (gas) did not work when we arrived-called Long and Foster and the maintenance guy was there within a 1/2 hr to fix it. Would definetly stay there again. Thanks for a memorable trip.

The house was really nice, the view was beautiful. The managment or property manager could have been better.
No complaints about the property however to check in I had to send 3 e-mails after paying for the rental to finally get the confirmation from Long & Foster. We had problems with the directions to the property that Long & Foster provided, we were given points of reference that were incorrect or certain signs were we should turn were no longer there. Directions to the the Pool & trash were also incorrect. (Never found the Poool ad never found the Trash dumpsters. We spoke to someone on monday but they were uable to give us correct directios and on tuesday our day to check out we tried to get help again but directions were wrong. We finally had to bring all trash with us and leave it in the dumsters at Long & Foster. Not happy.

Plenty of room...and nice accomodations. Only need to have the TVs updated as they have poor reception and are small tube tvs. Need some Flat screens with good reception. Also...need to have good wi fi available.

We have stayed at this home more than once and each time it's been fantastic. A clean, spacious townhouse that most likely has the best view of Deep Creek Lake in the McHenry, MD region. Everything was clean and nothing was needing repair. The pool table in the basement was quite enjoyable with pool cues also being in good shape with a balanced pool table. The outdoor hot tub is always a pleasure. All the bedrooms had their own bathrooms as well. All the showers and baths had great water pressure and were clean and spacious.
I would recommend this location to anyone for any season. Always a pleasure. -

This condo was just wonderful. With teenagers and a younger child, everyone had their space when they needed it. The view from the deck was wonderful from morning coffee to nighttime stars! The teenagers (and husband) would have liked a wireless network, but we probably would not have played as many hands of cards. Really enjoyed it!

nice place kept in excellent condition/ second year there. with serious storm in area we were amazed at lack of attention or concern on part of long and foster. no calls no warning no change of recording. nothing. at the same time i had the good fortune to reach sheila the manager and i cant say enough good things about her willingness to stay in touch and provide us with updates. she also coordinated the plowing of our street. you arent paying her enough!!!

The service and overall communications with Long & Foster were good.
We loved the home overall and the view lived up to its name. It was secluded and quiet. We enjoyed the amenities of the swimming pool and tennis court. We also enjoyed the pool table.
The biggest negative was lack of a dining table. Contrary to instructions, the rubbish had to be driven off-site. The master bedroom upstairs did not have a mirror. Finally, the grill had rusted out and was not useable.
We would certainly consider staying at "A View From Heaven" again. -

Our last stay was in 2008 and we have rentend A View From Heaven again July 2009. This will be our 5 vacation here. The home is very clean and i believe has one of the best views of the lake. The neighborhoold is nice and quiet and well maintained. We like the fact that we can use the local swimming pool, its great fun for the kids. The hot tub is great at night and also has a great view of the lake.
