This trip was our 2nd stay at this unit, but approximately our 20th to the area. Overall the unit is very good. All of transaction details, that were handled by Long & Foster, were handled in an overall excellent manner. This unit is reasonably well maintained by the owners and Long & Foster. It is very comfortable for a family stay (10 people +/-), or a group of several couples. The unit is located in what our family believes is nearly the perfect location in order to enjoy a wonderful trip to Deep Creek, MD. We could easily recommend this unit.
So, why did I not give it an overal rating of "Excellent?" A couple reasons: (1) I thought given the economy the rental rate was somewhat high. Especially after I realized that almost all of the other units in the complex were empty that weekend. And, when I requested a late check-out with no one renting behind us - the rate for a 4 pm check-out was incredibly higher than what we paid another popular rental company in previous years; (2) I am stickler when it comes to cleanliness, so I paid "extra" for extra cleaning which included "extras" that I thought should be completed after every stay. Would I return to this unit? Certainly! However, the next time I will also go back to the other popular Realtor in the area and check-out their units at the same time. At the end-of-the-day we enjoyed a great stay. Thank You. -

The weekwnd at Deep Creek was Great. A easy drive from Pittsburgh. The facility that we stayed in was very nice. The layout of the Condo was roomy and the rooms were big. We had five couples and had no problems within the Condo. The Kitchen was layed out nice (into the Great Room) and te appliances are newer. The bedrooms are comfortable. This is a place that I would recommend to anyone and I hope next year we can get the same place.

This is a wonderful locations to relax while enjoying the comforts of a cabin atmosphere. The service was great from the reservation planner to the check out process. I was very pleased with everything and look forward to my next stay at the Cedar Shores #17!!!

We have stayed four years in the Cedar Shores Condos. We really enjoy our stays. We have had a few snags along the way. This year there wasn't any gas for the grill, the gas fireplace in the basement was not in working order and by all means do not open the towel crates that are left on your front porch. There is a charge of $95.00 if the crate has been opened which we were not aware. But it was pointed out to me that it is in the contract. Just want to point this out to everyone so you don't make the mistake we did.
We do love these rentals and will definitely rent again next year. -

I would say everything was great with just a few little bumps.The location was close to the lake and we found serveral great restaurants in and near Deep Creek. If there were more then two couples in cars there was not enough parking.The hot tub needs to be check for the temp. control and jets working.Rachelle was great to work with and made our stay very enjoyable.We are coming back soon with our kids and family.Thanks.

When it was time to check in I couldn't get the front door open with the key it took about 3hrs. until i was able to get in. I calledfriday night and left a message but no one returned my call until i went up to rental office on Saturday at morning. I was confined to the house because I couldn't get the front door open from the outside and the inside. The maintenance guy came at 1:00pm and couldn't fix it and a locksmith wasn't coming until 4pm. My family and I had to waste majority of a familyday onsaturday waiting for the lock to be fix. This experience was bad being as though this was our first family get away

Service was great...even though we were after hours, we still got the key with no hassles!
The home is absolutely beautiful, the only thing I think I would suggest is dusting around the top of the wall because of spider webs that were there. The area was beautiful and the location was close to everything! We didnt have to drive very far for anything and we had more than an amazing time!
The best part of the trip was probably the jetskiing and grilling on the porch outside of the house! I can honestly say that there was not one thing that I did not like about our stay while we were in deep creek. We will definitely be coming back next summer and have recommended both the area and the homes to friends and family!
