First off I want to say how wonderdul the rental office of long and foster was because they informed me before my stay that the fireplace had broken down which was a bummer but good to know ahead of time. The unit was in a great location accross from the resort and the place was spotless when we walked in. I did notice some walls had been plastered recently but no biggie since i'm sure they we're working on it. Overrall I have to say i'm happy with the service and they place and would not look twice when searching for a place in McHenry and it beats staying in a hotel.

Jeanette Haynes was extremely pleasant, helpful and energetic in making my last minute rental happen. The townhouse was a 5 star experience for location, cleanliness, and floor plan. We were caught off guard in that the unit does not have air conditioning. The days were hot and humid, but nights cool.

The townehouse was beautiful and spacious. We especially liked having the grill on the deck and we used it despite the weather! The perfect place for a winter ski getaway and everyone had a great time. It was nice to have a fireplace but we could not use it because there was no wood in the community wood pile. The thing that upset me the most was the extra charge for late check-out. When I picked up the keys for check-in I had asked about checking out later than 11am. I was told that if I returned the keys later than 11am but before 1pm it would only be a $25 charge. Instead, when I called to tell them I would be later than 11am I was charged $100! Quite a big difference from what I was told and very upsetting ending to an otherwise fun weekend.
