We appreciated having the bed linens done and the towels organized. The place is nice. Close to the slopes.

We loved the convenience of being slope-side, to ski in and out and not to have to load a car when you were ready to ski.
We also were impressed with how clean the house was, very nice. -
Unresolved issues

I had to change my plans shortly after our reservation was made (arrival day changed from Sat to Sunday) and according to the help I received on the phone I was entitled to a lower rate for the stay and that an amended contract would be available on arrival. When we got there the unit we rented was occupied by the owner and we were placed in another unit that we were told probably rented at a lower rate still. The office manager was out sick so the issue couldn't be resolved before we left. But I have tried to resolve the issue by phone ever since without success. The office staff, this Monday, told me that only the manager could handle the issue and that she was still out sick. The condo was fine with the exception of some window problems we mentioned on the way out.

We arrived and the only fesh air into the cottage was through sliding doors which were off the hedges and broken and the first response was that the doors were ordered and would be in in a week -- would not be there while we were there. Upon insistence, we did receive another place; of lower value without any change in fee that we had paid in full. We have used Taylor Made previously and would do that again -- we received far mor value for the money. For the same price last year we were in a house with lake access; 4 bedrooms good condition.

We love Deep Creek, have been going there for years. I cannot think of a better family vacation spot. The rental company was very helpful and efficient in helping us choose our rental. We had to bring our small dog so they were able to find a pet friendly home. With this in mind, the home was nice but could use some updating. We were close to the lake, shopping, dining, and tons of indoor and outdoor activities. I do believe we had the best view of the fireworks!! Would definitely recommend this area to others.
