I loved the location, I only wish we could walk down to the water from the condo. Our only access was on the docks.
However, we rented a boat and had the dock slip, so all was well.
I would recommend fixing the sliding screen door to the deck on the main floor, we were unable to have the door open as the screen was broken. Also the fan in the master bedroom didn't seem to want to come on. Other than that, we loved it and I will rent it again.
I was looking for my welcome bag, as my paperwork indicated one would be waiting for me. There was none there!
A few more kitchen utensils would be nice, there was no pasta strainer that I could see.

Deep Creek vacation with kids

It was a good experience. The kids enjoyed the location and all the surrounding activities they got to participate in. Boating, horsebackriding, whitewater raftng, zipling and riding a segway
Nice house, horrible view

Deep Creek Village #37 was a very nice house, looked almost brand new inside. Good location, close to restaurants and located on a quiet part of the lake. However, there is no view of the lake. Although you are only 25 yards from the lake, the trees block the view completely. The pictures and "lake front" location are very misleading. It is almost impossible to see any part of the lake. I would not stay at this house again because it is not worth the price for a lake front location with no view of the lake.

Our stay at Deep Creek was very relaxing.

The condo was extremely neat and clean. Also very tastefully decorated. Being lakefront and having a dock slip as well as a hot tub was a bonus!

In need of basic housekeeping / snow removal
Left on 02/16/2010 for a stay in January 2010 | suburban
When we first arrived on Friday there was a red bin filled with dirty laundry on the front porch blocking the doorway, because it had snowed - this made it difficult to get by. This bin remained there for our entire stay.
The stairs leading down to the entrance had a foot of snow. This made it very dangerouse to move in. I acknowledge that it had snowed earlier that day and that week but we had no way of clearing ourselves. When the maintenance crew finally came by, they cleared a one foot wide walkway and their was still a lot of ice on the driveway and the walk. Which made it difficult at best to walk with ski boots to the lift (one of the reasons we picked this location).
The staff at the office were very friendly. we had an issue with the ski passes (an honest mistake by the staff) but they corrected the problem quickly and with a smile. In the future, you may want to make sure that the person taking the reservation knows the difference between adults and children for the purpose of who is staying at the rental and adult and children for the ski passes (adults are over 12 years for Wisp).

We had a great time during our stay. The house was great and very close to the slopes! Love the fact that there are 3 and half baths. This helps when you have a full house.
Another great place to stay at Deep Creek
