We were very happy with our stay! The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The house was missing pole cues for the pole table and the kitchen could use salt and peppper. We would stay at the house again if traveling back to Deep Creek.

We really liked that house. It was perfect for our company, plenty of room to lounge around and sleep. The location to the slopes was also very convenient, just couple minutes of walking. And we could almost ski in all the way to the house. There was plenty of hot water for everyone, which was rather important. Overall, very satisfied, except for the downstairs being a bit cold. A space heater in the downstairs rooms would be a nice addition. Other areas of the house, were very warm, though.

Wispering Heights was a great property rental for our annual Decemeber ski weekend at WISP. The house is clean, in great conditions, and the location can not be beat. You are minutes away from the base of WISP. We did not utilize the ski-in/ski-out access since the trail was closed during our stay. Overall, I would recommend this property without any hesitation!

We were very pleased with Wispering Heights. The kitchen was extremely well stocked allowing us to easily prepare Thanksgiving dinner. Honestly, our only complaint (actually, that of the men)was that the house did not have ESPN for the holiday games. We are considering a return trip in Dec. 2011, if not before.

Says ski in ski out but this house is a fair distance from the slops and one has to walk. Not bad for adults but small children with all their gear walking in ski boots, carrying gear, etc... not very convenient. Also the path to the slopes isn't maintained and had 3 feet of snow which we were sinking down into trying to reach the slope.

My friends and I loved Wispering Heights, the house was beautiful and the amenities included were really nice (hot tub, pool table, flat screen tv's, mini bar, etc), the pictures shown on the website just do no do justice for how nice this house is. Most of the people staying in the house were hitting the slopes, so the short walk over was a little bit of a pain (about a 2 min. walk) but the closest slope was a black diamond, luckily we ski and snowboard a lot so that was not a problem but if you want a ski-in ski-out and your not a great skier you may want to chose a different house.

This home was perfect in almost every way for our group of two families with 5 teenagers. Spacious rooms, nicely decorated & furnished, meticulously clean (brand new), beautiful view, convenient location. The one exception was the kitchen. Our two families have been renting houses together for thanksgiving for nearly 20 years and have never come across a kitchen less well stocked to suit a group. There were plenty of lovely dishes, glassware and flatware, but this kitchen had no large bowls or platters, no large pots or pans for cooking other food items. We always bring along our own large pans to cook our turkey and stuffing, so we were covered there, but I highly recommend that the owners hit a few yard sales to pick up some additional items to stock this kitchen.
