Tucked in the corner of the woods and surrounded by tall oak trees, Cozy Bear Chalet is your perfect getaway choice. This property is a gorgeous log home only about 3 miles from the ski resort and within walking distance, or a short drive, to the lake. Hardwood floors spread out in the great room with a large stone gas fireplace, TV, and charming views of the mountain area. Granite counter tops, Jenn Aire appliances and stovetop griddle adorn the kitchen, making for easy entertainment. There are plenty of amenities for the whole family. We rented the Cozy Bear Chalet for a week with our Family. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own room. The house had many admenities, like pool table, fuzz ball and hot tub. We enjoyed coming back and the evenings and relaxing, watching one of the big screen tv's . This was a relaxing vacation, even though we kept busy during the day.

Deep Creek Vacations is the best. I am thrilled about the entire experience. Evereyone in my party agreed that this is indeed our favorite vacation ever. We've made a pact to return 2-3 times every year.

The Cozy Bear is a nice vacation house. Lots of privacy and close to skiing. The hot tub, deck, bedrooms, downstair game area and main living area were very nice. Kitchen needs a few more items and the hot water heater doesnt produce very much hot water but overall a great place to spend a long weekend.

I LOVE the cozy bear chalet! I go every year for my birthday weekend. The house has everything you need.. a great kitchen, living room, pool table, and the jetted tub in the master bathroom is amazing! The staff is very friendly and customer service oriented. This is overall a great experience. That's why I come back every year. Thanks Taylor Made :)

The house was very nice. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Not as close to the water as we would have liked, but we will chose better next time... All in all...the property was spotless and well maintained. We will DEFINTELY be back very soon...

We had an awesome time at Deep Creek Lake. It was our first visit there and everything exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect for us. There were 8 of us staying at the Cozy Bear Chalet with ages ranging from 2 to 65 and we all thought it was perfect. The only drawback was the distance and hike to the lake. It was pretty but once you get to the bottom, there isn't much of a lake there. If you're looking for a lot of lake time, this might not work for you. Besides that, it was great.

We loved the Cozy Bear! The house was a great last minute choice since our other choice had no A/C. The only issue we had at the Cozy Bear was the A/C didn't work on the upper level. Taylor-Made sent RUSH out to fix it, and by bedtime the upper level was cool. We originally booked for 4 nights and decided to stay an additional night. If we didn't have our toy poodle back home, we would of stayed all week. We hope to get back to the Cozy Bear. My family absolutely loved everything!

This was my very first time visiting Deep Creek and it was a wonderful experience. It actually exceeded my expectations and I will certainly recommend this vacation spot to friends and family. As a matter of fact, we are already planning another trip here but hopefully we'll be able to stay for the entire week!

Cozy Bear Chalet is absolutely gorgeous. It's the ideal vacation rental. My college girlfriends and I rented it for a weekend retreat away from our husbands and families - it was perfect. Two girls are pregnant, so they enjoyed the jacuzzi tub while the rest of us soaked in the hot tub. The location was great too and the views were beautiful.
SIDE NOTE: The directions to the office were wrong in our email confirmation. It told us to head North five miles on 219. It took us about an hour to find the location and we wouldn't have had we not called. We also could not check out using the automated system. The house was beautiful, although it was a rainy weekend so hard to enjoy any view except for the melting snow. All the amenities were lovely and we never had to leave the house. Would definately visit the Cozy Bear Chalet again!

The house was beautiful - very well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was that the driveway/walkway had not been cleared of snow for our arrival, and we had to call to have it done. Management responded very quickly though and were really great.

With my stay the ONLY disappointment I had was I thought they would have had our driveway and walkway and deck cleared of snow, it wasn't.. The plow truck was helpful with getting us some what of a driveway, and shoveled a small pathway to the house, but we had no use of the beautiful deck on the house because of an abundant amount of snow. I would suggest if you know guests are coming start working on prepping the property earlier.... Overall the stay was well worth the money....

This property was great to stay in! I didn't want to leave. The kictchen, game room, master bedroom, and living rooms were simply enjoyable. The house is so beautiful and comfortable, and the view was sooo beautiful. I love how up-to-date the decor and appliences were. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. I can't wait to come back in the summer time!

We really enjoyed the Cozy Bear Chalet. Deep Creek is always a favorite getaway spot and this house was one of the best we've stayed in so far. We met the owner of the house and the realty company~they were both making sure the house was ready for us. That was great to see. We met a few other home owners on a walk around the area and everyone was so nice and informative.
We were very thankful to have this family time together and Cozy Bear helped make it a very special Thanksgiving!
