My family of 5 really liked how close this was to wisp, the state park, restaurants and shops. We also truly appreciated having 4 full bathrooms! The master bedroom was very cold though while the upstairs bedrooms were all incredibly hot all while the thermostat was set on 65. Nice place but not quite right for us to return to next year.

Six of us had a great time at Three Oaks. The place was spotlessly clean. It is a bit out of date - a little musty upon arrival but fine for the price and our short weekend away!
We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and even had a bear visit us one evening. Keep this in mind when you're out and about - the bear came down off the hill at dusk. We heard him as he was approaching the master bedroom deck (far right as you look at the house). Of course, we got excited and shouted and the bear turned and meandered up the hill. The bear did return later that evening but it was too dark to see - and we were inside the house - enjoying the lovely fireplace at that point.
The location is awesome. A very quick drive to the stores and other restaurants, etc. The road that Three Oaks sits on (Rock Lodge) is great for a nice long walk with views of the lake the entire time.
Our group decided we would definitely rent this house again! -

The unit was clean. We had issue with the deck furniture that wasn't fit to sit on. The plastic was okay but so oxidized that it would get on your clothes. The water pressure is fine but I think the faucets have a buildup that restricts the flow. The showers are fine just the wash basins. We enjoyed ourselves and will return to deep creek again.

Wanted to rent something near the water for a short trip with husband and two young kids. Three Oaks fit our price range and looked pretty enough in the pictures so I booked it although I was a wee bit skeptical bc it supposedly slept 10. I figured if it was in the price range, there could be something wrong with it. I was very pleasantly surprised and really wished we had brought some more family members to take advantage of the space. One of the sitting areas had a very comfortable sofa bed (which really should have been advertised as a fourth bedroom IMO) and i ended up sleeping in there with the baby. It had a tv and comfy rocker/recliner and a nice bathroom too-- actually every room does. Four bedrooms if you count that one and four bathrooms. Yay for everyone having their own bathroom!!
Everything was very clean and overall just very comfortable. Loved going room to room and opening all the windows to let the crisp yummy air in. I agree with the reviewer about the dock though. I didn't realize "split lakefront" meant the dock was across the street, my bad though-- no big deal overall. Other nice details- great fireplace, light down quilts, lots of good reading choices if you forgot a book, tv with Nick Jr (sheepish), plenty of storage for your clothes, nice deck. Will definitely stay here again, but next time summer or winter as there's not much to do with tiny kids in the fall, weekdays anyway. -

House was very nice and clean with a lot of room and bathrooms! Close to all Deep Creek activities and parks. The pier is not really close though and not good for fishing like we thought it would be. It is small and floating and hard to stand on with the waves from the boat traffic.

I was origionally very concerned with how the home would be. We were very late in booking and we were not left with much choices. I was truelly surprised with the home and the amenities. The 4 teenage boys we brought with us enjoyed themselves, as did my husband and I. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the 'sitting room' or 'reading room'. The pocket doors created an escape for us. We also enjoyed the deck and soaked up the sun. Thank you! Was really pleasantly surprised!!!
