Our rental is a beautifully furnished home on the lake. Alpine Dreaming has enough lot space to allow some privacy while providing spectacular access and views.

The house was nice and accommodated twelve adults with room to spare. The kitchen has been remodeled and is a wonderful use of space. I would stay at alpine Dreaming again.

Arlington, VAGreat house in fantastic location for activities
Left on 08/18/2010 for a stay in August 2010
Alpine Dreaming was the perfect house for our family's first trip to Deep Creek. Well appointed and very comfortable for a large crowd. The location could not have been better for all of the activities available in the area and the private dock and fire pit added to the ambiance of the lake vacation. The only drawbacks were that the eastern exposure meant we were in the shade by 1 p.m. and secondly that the trash cans were full by previous tenants for the first 2-3 days of our stay.

The carpets were very stained in the loft, MBR, and lower level.
At $105.00 per Pet no reason that they are not cleaned monthly. My $210.00 fee would cover the first month. -

We had to be relocated to alpine Dreaming when our original condo had water damage. We were not only impressed, we are ready to use this condo from now on as our yearly retreat. Friends and I thought the place and its amenities were outstanding! Great location!

My wife and family (three adult children, spouses, and eight grandchildren) and I enjoyed using alpine Dreams for a Family reunion weekend. Railey's office did a quick and convenient job and the home was clean, comfortable, and convenient to all the summer attractions of the Deep Creek area. We will be back.

House was well stocked and comfortable. We were surprised by the condition of the property when we got there. Looks like there was some damage on one wall that was in the process of being repaired and painted and the house had a strong chemical smell in lower level. Railey came with air freshener which helped. Didn't notice the flaws after a while and still had a great time. Great lake view.

MarylandOur annual trip was just ok.
Left on 02/25/2010 for a stay in February 2010
The house was great but, the view was blocked by snow on the main level. A roof leak which was great concern to my wife. The lack of hot water was a real big problem. Last the luke warm water temperature in the hot tub made it unuseable. I hope these problems can be address before the home is rented to the next family.

Washington, DCEnjoyed my experience at Arcadia more than Alpine Dreaming
Left on 02/04/2010 for a stay in January 2010
Hot tub was cold the entire weekend. WE had several guests and children who were looking forward to utilizing the hot tub.
The house was extremely hot in some rooms and freezing in others. It was hard to keep a constant temperature.
We burned through all of the wood.
The house did not have sufficient tools to deal with the steep driveway and the show that fell over the weekend. We had a number of cars stuck at the bottome of the drivway for the entire weekend. On the day of departure we spent several hours shoveling the driveway and spreading salt. There was no salt at the house so we had to purchase several bags. -

We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this property. It has everything - pool table, hot tub, and even a ping pong table. There are several "master bed-rooms" which makes lodging comfortable for couples. The best part is that there were two fridges, so it made stocking up on food very easy. Also, it's so close to Wisp, it made skiing and tubing very easy. Furthermore, the view was breathtaking - out one window one can see over the lake, and out another window, one can view the snow-filled woods. This property was our favorite, and we having been returning to Deep Creek every year since 2006.

The Great Eight
Annapolis, MarylandA vacation that met and exceeded our expectations.
Left on 10/14/2009 for a stay in July 2009
took the entire family (18 of us)8 of them were young children..the home is perfect for large families because the kitchen is exceptional-there are two sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc. and the dining room table comfortably held all 18 of us..we originally picked the layout of this home because it allowed each family to have their own bed/bath combination and all of us were separated enough not to get under the feet of another family..there was plenty of off street parking..we loved the access to the lake ...there was a tiny beach where all of the children could wade in and splash around...we had the firepit going at nite with marshmallows, smores and wine....there was a private pier where we could dock the boat that we rented and many local things to entertain the children....We took our bichon because this home is pet friendly ( with a reasonable deposit )...we spent many hours in the hot tub and enjoyed the many televisions scattered throughout the home...the only downside was the deck looked like it had not been maintained as well as the inside of the home...there were enough tables on the deck for all 18 of us to eat but everything really needed to be wiped down or cleaned before using...The incline from the lake to the home is pretty steep and is not appropriate for elderly or handicapped persons...we had a great week and felt that it was truly worth the money that we spent to rent it...one of my personal favorite things was that all of the beds (and there are many) were completely ready for use with clean linens and there were towels in the bathrooms...the inside of the home was very clean and neat when we arrived and we would certainly return another year...We had no problems with Railey and would certainly refer our friends to them...
