This is a very well distributed home with many amenities. Parking was a little tight, but the location is great. It is very close to the slopes and rental office, so access to the house with a sedan even on snowy days is not an issue. The two hot tubs outside allowed all of us to be able to enjoy more time together as a group.

When we checked in,we noticed that the refrigerator had a water leak onto the floor and the air conditioner was not working properly. The air conditioner was serviced promptly and worked fine after that. A man came to service the refrigerator and said he would be back. He never came back and this was reported to the office.

A group of my friends stayed at the American Eagle Lodge several times over the past few years during the winter season. The location is fantastic for skiing. It is close enough to the Wisp ski resort, that our walkie talkies work to arrange transportation back and forth during the sessions, and the view of the slopes is breathtaking at night. The house is large enough to accommodate a large number of guests and the swimming pool keeps the children occupied. The house is beautifully furnished. I would highly recommend staying at this vacation home in McHenry.

This house is situated across from the ski resort and provides exellent views. It is nicely equipped and has quality furnishings. Parking was a bit of a problem, especially for our large group. Nevertheless, we enjoyed this property.

As a group we rented 2 homes for the last 8 years. This year after our stay we called to see when to reconfirm our wish to reserve the same 2 homes. We were told to call by that thursday. We called that thursday and were advised one of the two rental were already booked for the following year. After numerous calls to your staff we were advised there was nothing you could do to remedy this problem. My final contacts were with LaDonna (a manager). Kinda put a damper on the experience.
