Apple Orchard Way was a great place to base our ski weekend. Roomy, well-equipped and nicely decorated. It isn't exactly walking distance to Wisp because there are no sidewalks along March Hill Road so you would be taking your life in your hands to try to walk. Also a little far if you are hauling all your ski equipment.

The house fits our needs perfectly with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths - we are 4 women who rent at Deep Creek for a week every year (our 3rd year at apple Orchard). The location is great - easy and fast in and out plus level lawn to the lake..The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking tools, pots and pans we need.

This is our fourth year staying at apple Orchard Way, We always have a great time and enjoy staying there. The only two things that bothered me were with white cabinets you can see dirt, need to be cleaned. The second problem is the rug in the foyer and the living room need to be replaced. There is an odor. We look forward to next year. Yay!!!

This level lakefront property is perfect for children of all ages! We played football, frisbee, and golf in our own backyard. The dock is very stable and has two boat slips. The layout of the house suited our needs with two master suits. The patio off of the living area is large and has a beautiful lake view.

Location! Location! Location! Truly walking distance to the Wisp! Grocery store nearby. Happy about having after hours check in! Unfortunately, we went to the wrong bldg at first. It was dark, snowing and we were tired and we didn't see the "Vacation" rentals bldg behind the main bldg until someone pointed it out to us. Upon arrival at house, we were pleasantly surprised to find the house warm and waiting for us. However, the water was not on and it took a few minutes to figure out how to use the instant hot water tank properly. Fortunately, 3 of us are real estate agents and one is an engineer, so we successfully had the water in working order. We were disappointed to find out that 2 baths that had tub/shower combinations did not have the correct diverter valve to change from tub to shower. It was inconvenient but we worked it out. The house was very well supplied with all the amenities of home. REALLY happy about not having to bring linens, pillows and towels! Overall a wonderful experience! Can't wait to go back!

From beginning to end, the Deep Creek lake experience was simply perfect!! I began looking @ houses Apr '09-every email was quickly answered-I was never pushed into making decisions and was given plenty of time to secure our reservations . As for the house-I am so thankful for the owner's effort to make it look so perfect for Christmas!! We heard she spent 4 hours decorating and we noticed every detail and appreciated her effort. The house had everything we needed and I must say it was the 1rst vacation that I was NOT ready to go home!!! I had the master bedroom suite-between the view, fireplace and comfortable bed-I felt like I was in heaven!!! Check-in was quite smooth and we would highly recommend this house to anyone wishing to stay -location, comfort, design, view, backyard-you couldn't have asked for a better place!!! The snow was an added bonus and a relief as it was 1 of only 2 things on my 8 year olds letter to Santa-the kids had plenty of snowball battles and enjoyed the size of the backyard!! The only downside was the size of the family room-my mom could not do many stairs-so it made "movie" night a bit difficult for the entire family as squeezing 10 people in that room to watch a movie was not very comfortable. The kids LOVED having the downstairs as their "haven." Plenty of books, games to keep them entertained! Had I known the house had that many amenities, I wouldn't have packed as much. Anyone renting this house, will be quite pleased and impressed!

We vacationed with two small children and our parents. EVERYONE had a wonderful time! It is a beautiful house located on a perfect waterfront lot that allows for bonfires, grilling, fishing, running/playing in the grass under the large trees, hanging out in the hammock, and sitting on the dock in the evening. It was VERY relaxing! When we come back to the area, we would love to come back to this house and make it a tradition!

The home was great. We especially liked being on a portion of the lake that didn't have a lot of boat traffic. Really can't complain about anything...could have been a bit warmer, but we had a fire nightly by the dock. Our kids and their friends thoroghly enjoyed being so close to the Wisp and FunLand.

My girlfriends and I have stayed at Apple Orchard Way for 2 years in a row. We used the rental home for a girls get-a-way weekend and enjoyed it so much the first year we decided to go back for a second! It was the perfect spot for all of us to get together, relax, laugh and share memories! THe home offers great space, is very clean and we all loved the hot tub!! Thanks again!

We have stayed at Apple Orchard Way several times
in the past. We loved the location and the home.
This home had everything we wanted and was very
comfortable. Our only complaint was a very uncomfortable couch in the family room which needed
replacing.
We now take our dogs on vacation with us and can
no longer stay at this home. If they allowed dogs
we would certainly rent again.
Our experience with Railey Mountain Vacations has
always been a good one.
Any problems we encountered were handled in a very
timely manner.
We plan to come back every year.
