A great place for a family get-together. A private bath for each bedroom is an assets.
The place is well maintained. On a minor problem, we had a very quick response.
Great House, no use of sofa beds and poor layout

We loved the house we rented for the location, cleanliness, and amenities. We had 15 30 year olds staying in this house and only 3 people were not part of a couple. We needed every double bed advertised, but when we arrived both of the sofabeds had a sign saying we couldn't use them. We had 2 people sleeping on a blowup mattress because we were short a double bed. Also, the house was loud from any corner of the house. I understand we had 15 grownups, but noise carried like crazy.
Truly liked the rental, but we would choose to stay somewhere else next time.

We had thee families with 4 teenagers and 2 kids. The house was well suited for our needs. Really liked that a lot of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms.
Bedrooms and bathrooms were great

Great place for family. Some minor things could be improved -better pillows, handrail on path to lake.
Good location for boating, rafting, kayaking, etc.
Nice house but common areas were not cleaned
Left on 06/18/2010 for a stay in June 2010 | JoAnne
We liked the house. The common areas were filthy, dried food was on the table downstairs, floors were filthy both upstairs and downstairs. We were very disappointed with the condition of the house and the sneaky delay at the office when we arrived to pick up the key. According to our contract the house and the early arrival fee we paid , the house should have been ready at noon, we got there at 2:00pm and it was not ready. The outdoor light was broken, the windows were dirty, the faucet for the kitchen double sink was difficult to move from one sink to the other. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.
Next day someone came and cleaned and it was much better.

The house was very nice, the front ha a great view of the ski slopes, and the computer room was a great addition. However the decks were unusable. We wanted to use the grill and eck. It took us 2 hours to clean teh grill and deck. It was filed with webs, tree sap, knats...it was really bad. I would expect that once the weather breaks, you would make sure teh outside areas (decks and patios) are usable. The lower patio was so bad we never used the hot tub !!!

We would not stay at any house in Deep Creek Lake without going through Railey Mountain Lake Vacations, their service is excellent. This was our 3rd vacation at Deep Creek and we have been in a different house each time. This particular house had a great layout, a wounderful deck and was close to the water. The down side for us was no yard to speak of. With little children we really would have liked a bigger yard. Read more
