We spent New Year's Eve 2010 at the Chateau of Dreams. One member of our group luckily got the keys a bit early because when we showed up at 4:00PM for check-in the line was super long and super slow. We liked the house, it was a bit noisy because there is one main hangout area right below the upstairs bedrooms and next to the master bedroom. However, there is a garage that has a heater and we did most of our festivities in there. I wish we were able to enjoy the rest of the house more in the evening but we were with a few children who were trying to sleep. I would have liked to be able to hang out in the furnished area more, maybe adding some comfortable/extra furniture in the garage may help out. The location was fine and even with some ice/snow on the driveway my minivan was able to make it up the hill. We loved that at check-in the beds were made and towels were there and ready. I also loved that the check-out was simple.

The house was very nice and rustic. It was a little difficult to find in the evening, and prevented us from going to do do things like an evening movie. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of televisions, although we wished they all had cable. There were some spiderwebs, so it wasn't cleaned as thoroughlly as we would have liked. It was a very pleasant weekend and we loved the new video rental system that Railey is using now. Furniture could use a little updating. We had a wonderful couple of days and I think we got a really good deal for the number of bedrooms.
