Lake Point Retreat is a very comfortable house with great access to the slopes and all Wisp has to offer. Our group is a mix of teenagers and adults and this home offers spaces for all to be together or separate. We will definitely rent this house again. We were very pleased.

The service from the realty company was great.
The home was very nice.
It could have used a sofa in the downstairs family room. A second refrigerator would be nice in the garage. We did not have a problem because it was winter and we just put our food outside.
The hot tub smelled and was slimy so we could not use that.
But all in all we really liked the house.

We had rented this house four years ago and the house was in excellent condition, real pretty. On arrival to the house this time, we were faced with burners in the kitchen not working, I was having a panic attack, since it was Thanksgiving and I would be entertaining guests the following day. Railey's maintenance men arrived that same evening and had two burners working fine, but the other two still were not up to speed. They got the fireplace on the lower level working, also. The furniture in the livingroom was worn and looked terrible. The daybed mattresses smelled of urine and could not be slept on, but Railey brought the next day rollaway beds to accommodate my family. The hot water level on the front level in the bathrooms was inadequate, the water had to run approx. 20 minutes to get warm water to shower. We had baby roaches near the microwave and stove were appeared when the stove was turned on to cook my turkey, this really sent me over the top and I notified Railey of this turn of events, along with others. Overall the house needed much tender loving care from the owners and many updates with the funiture and thorough cleaning. The owners were asking too much money for a house in such disrepairs. I would not recommend this house to anyone with the price asked for, until the owner does many upgrades.

I had a wonderful time love the house...but the owner needs to upgrade on his appliances and electronics. In the living room needs a new TV where plugs can stay to play games(ex. Ninetndo WII , Playstation etc.)Also need a new surrond sound system where you can plug an MP3 or Ipod compatiable I was unable to play music for my guest while i stayed there. The kitchen needs a new stove and refrigerator took to long to cook my food. The basement/family room needs a whole new enetrtainment system, tv there was no dvd player downstairs the cd player were skipping all my cd's really couldn't entertain down there....what i like most was the hot tub....I will come back to Deep Creek actually this was my 10th time here not the same house but in Deep Creek period.

When I arrived at the office in Deep Creek I spent last than 5 minutes getting directions and all the keys that I needed. They were ready to get me in the house with no problems. As a matter of fact, everything was prepared before I arrived. I loved the early check-in. The house was clean. I picked Lake Pointe Retreat after looking at 5 different houses. The house had everything that I needed; except for the parking; that even turned out ok. It was in a nice location; you could walk to the fun house and to some stores. The house had all the amenities that you could think of except for an indoor pool but that was ok. I like the spacious living room and the master suite being upstairs by itself. I have a young son so he was able to sleep in the loft and I didn't have to worry about walking downstairs to check on him. There are two things that would keep me from coming back to Lake Pointe Retreat; the price and the rodent traps; other than that I would rent it for the holidays. The view was nice at night. It was a nice house and I enjoyed it along with my family.

This property was really nice. There were 20 of us there and we really had a good time. There are a couple of negative things, the warning for the door leading to the swimming pool keep going off even though no one opened the door. We called management a few times to resolve the issue. On our last day, it went off again and it was really annoying. The cleanliness of the house wasn't totally up to par. There were large black ants coming from the sofas in the great room and when we lifted the cushions, we found trash, crumbs, coins, hair and other things that shouldn't have been there that we ended up cleaning. Nevertheless, inspite of those things,
I would stay there again. Hopefully, if I ever did, housekeeping would have done a better job.
