We truely enjoyed the house and it's perfect location. The layout and space were great for our large group of 23 and it was a very convienient drive to the grocery store and slopes. The double hot tubs were fantastic as, when one went a little cold there was always a back up. The one recommendation I would have is to update the cook wear. There were very few larger pots and cooking utensils for a group that large. I realize that they may have dwindled over time and it wasnt a big problem, but did present somewhat of a challenge. Overall everyone had a wonderful stay and we look forward to renting with Railey again next year.

The heat was a major issue. we had very poor response from Railey. One nihgt we froze, one night we sweat. The downstairs gas FP emitted CO and set off the smoke detectors. The refrigerator leaked. The toilets kept clogging. Will not stay here or rent from Railey again.
On the positive side, great Tv's in every room. Wifi but too slow to surf the net at all! Great lay out. Awesome kitchen. Pool table was a coup. We had fun but Railey really dropped the ball. I actually did not even mention everything that went wrong and expect Railey will nto address given their apparent lack of concern. -

The house is in need of some care - the outside paint is peeling pretty badly in many places. There isn't enough outside deck furniture. The TVs in the bedrooms and the downstairs family room only get a few channels. The dining table was dirty - even after trying to clean it. There was less of a lake view than anticipated.

Mallard Landing is really nice. There are some upgrades that need to be addressed the gas grills are old and not in good working order, Air conditioner did not work when we first got there but repairs were made. Tv in living room not programed for easy access.

Family reunion on Friday and Grandmother's 90th birthday party on Saturday. Absolutely beautiful home and plenty of room for family get together. Everyone commented on what a beautiful home and surroundings and accomadations I managed to book. They loved it!!! I did really good... Plenty of kitchen utensils and servingdishes to use. We had so much food to serve , plenty of counter space, and electric outlets for crock pots. Dining areas were sufficient and all family members loved their bedrooms and especially the fact that they had their own bathrooms.. Smores in the fireplace and family musicians soothed the night away on Sat night. Overall it was a fantastic weekend according to all members present.

While this home is not the most aesthetically pleasing from the outside, it offers a very relaxed layout on the interiort. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here very much. If I could make one suggestion it would be to darken the interior log walls on the corner rooms upstairs because they are so light that it's impossible to sleep once the sun comes up.

The house was beautiful and easily accommodated our extended family. It had a beautiful view of the lake and Wisp resort. And Wisp is less than a mile away, so it's easy to get there and back. All in all, it was absolutely perfect!
