I love the condo. It's beautiful and spacious. It fit our needs well. A family with 2 small kids stayed downstairs and had a family area while the other 2 of us were in the other 2 bedrooms (main floor & loft). Sauna shower came in handy when the allergies kicked in. Love the view of the valley. I also loved it when the fog rolled in. It was like being wrapped in a blanket.

Overall, we were satisfied with the unit. As always, completely satisfied with Railey. The walk and driveway were well plowed. There was a snow shovel available (we did a path to the grill one night).
One issue was that the cable was out in the house which was disappointing because we missed Olympic coverage, but Railey sent someone out to the house that evening to check it out - and turned out to be a cable company issue - which we all have regularly. Even tho we couldn't watch tv, it would have been inconvenient since there wasn't a television in the great room/kitchen which is where people spend most of their time.
The beds were abysmal; extremely uncomfortable.
The negatives are mostly little things that are minor annoyances. They only had about 8 teaspoons. None of the paring knives were sharp. No griddle for pancakes. Some lids were missing for pots.
The unit is on the market - but wouldn't show well. While rental units do get a bit beat up, this one was a bit shabbier than usual - wallpaper pealing in many places; obvious wall patches; tacky furniture (being sold furnished). -

The house was in pretty good shape; after the snow we had several leaks in the main living room. The pull out bed in the loft was broken so the people staying on that had to put the mattress on the floor to sleep so they were not very comfortable. Also the thermostat was not working properly; it was very hot in parts of the house and the air conditioner had to be used at times to cool things down. Other than that; we all had a great time. The house was great and clean.

The Realty office was very helpful with making reservations and keeping us informed. However, they weren't very specific about parking and apparently I parked in the wrong lot because when I went to get my car the entire parking lot was full of 3ft of snow and we had to shovel it out. A couple of the boys that helped shovel were great, the others were lazy and would rather text on their phone then help us out, the older man, myself, and my friends were pretty much left to do all the work. The house was very nice, it was great to have a pool table, dvd players, dvds, and a hot tub. However, when we arrived the cleaning crew had forgotten to take the linens and red biohazard bin with them and left it on the front porch. The roof leaked in three areas across the living room. The front windows needed blinds because with the sun beating in, it made the house get up to 78 degrees and the heat continued to come on, we had to switch to AC in February which is very odd! Both DVD players were broke, so luckily we brought our own. The hot water wasn't on when we go there so we had to call to find out where to turn it on. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable too. I hate to complain so much because the house has very good potential, but some ducks need put in a row to make it the dream getaway you'd really want.

The home and location are fine. However We had some issues:
There are only 4 beds in the house! This house needs additional beds. The sleep sofa was broke and not useable. We saked for a portable bed which we got the next day and it was an inflatable matress but we did not get the air pump although we called and asked for it again. The house was not properly cleaned and checked out before we arrived. The BBQ cover was left under snow and the BBQ was broke with some parts on the deck and some parts in the garage. This house needs a new set of pots , pans and utenciles. There were only 4 tea spoons and one set of extremley large coofe cups. We had a good time with a ton of snow and a fantastic white winter views all around us. -

Our recent visit to WISP and stay in Overlook Mountain Villa 4C was a real pleasure.
Pros:
The home was immaculate and very spacious. It provided plenty of room for our party (2 families with a total of 10 people). The main level has a large kitchen, table which sat 10 and adjoining great room. This was perfect to prepare meals and relax in front of the fire after a day of skiing. There is a bedroom/bath as well as a half bath on this level.
The lower level, where the kids spent most of their time, had 2 bedroom/bath suites and another family room with a pool table, seating area, TV and fireplace. There is also access to a large outdoor hot tub.
The younger kids enjoyed the huge loft (3rd floor) with computer & TV. There is also another bedroom/bath suite on this level.
Other great conveniences included a very large mud room which held all 10 pairs of boots and helmets with ease. Heated two car garage that easily accommodated two large SUV with cargo carriers on top.
Cons:
Not enough silverware
Could use additional hooks in the mud room for ski jackets -

This was my first time staying in Overlook Villas. I must say I was highly impressed. The house was very spacious and the amenities were perfect. It is the perfect location if you are skiing a Wisp. I would stay here again!

The house had everything we needed and a great view. It was a nice quiet area and the house was very comfortable. The only negative is that we had to get in the car anytime we wanted to do something other than play pool or go in the hot tub. We are returning to Deep Creek Summer 2010, but we will be staying lakefront this time.

We all had a great time in Deep Creek, MD. There are many family based activities available. Our home was absolutely lovely. The only problem was the closing of the community pool for several days during the week for no apparent reason. The weather was perfect for swimming, but we were repeatedly told that the chemicals in the pool were not correct. That was disappointing for all of us, especially our toddler who counted on it. No refund was offered for this inconvenience.

This was our 3rd year to stay at Villa 4C; first for one week; 2nd for two weeks; this time one week. There has been something each time that we've had to ask for. This time it just wasn't as clean as previous years. All the main windows were covered in fingerprints that looked awful as the sun hit. Each time, the response has been quick and excellent. Railey customer service response is great and friendly staff. I would only ask that the kitchen be reviewed for what a large family might need, since it sleeps 10. One coffee maker didn't do it. We love the space and feel very comfortable. It was great see some new furniture!
Great new dining room table addition. Thanks.

We love this place and have stayed here on several different occasions. Most of all it's a great size. We go with 2 other family's and everyone has plenty of room. The location is perfect for skiing and for taking in the night life. But the hot tub is the best feature of all. RMLV has always treated me very well. I've never used anyone esle in the 20 years that we have been renting in Deep Creek.
