This Villa is great! The view is perfect! The rooms are large and well-decorated, the bathrooms are updated, everything works. The only signifciant drawback to this villa was the atrocious cable service they have. No Espn, no kids stations (Nick or Disney), no Bravo/MTV/VH1/Hgtv/Tlc--just really, really awful. We definitely utilized the free movie rentals from Railey every day to try to make up for it.
All in all, though, if you are not going to be on the lake, then this villa is a fantastic place to be. The view, the comfort, the location...we had a great time. -

We really enjoyed our first ever week long, multi-generational vacation at Deep Creek resort. Our rental property was beautiful and very spacious. It had a spectacular view of the lake area and many ammenities we enjoyed using. The area offered us a multitude of activities in which to participate, which helped keep everyone happy. It was truly a memorable vacation we still talk about with friends. We hope to repeat the experience in the future, and will definitely stay with your rentals when we do.

Everything about the home was great. It was very accomodating to our needs and in close proximity to stores, restaurants and the snow activities. The amenities in the home made it easy to want to stay in all day!

Hi there, we have rented the Overlook Mountain Villa 6B in Dec for a week. We were 8 people and a small 3 year old child. It was our New Year celebration holiday. Let me start by saying that the house was wonderful. It was very beautifully decorated and very convenient for all 9 of us. From the whole week we rented the house, we had only one nice day. The second day we all got sick. We didnt know what was wrong with us. We were all throwing up and had diarrhea for 3 days in a roll. The last day was when we were starting to feel a little bit better but we had to leave. Now, what we finally realized was that we had a stomach bug/virus. It must have been from the house. We believe that it wasnt sanitized/cleaned properly. Now, it might be as simple as the dishes being infected or something like that. It is our fault that we took it for granted and thought everything has been sanitized properly and we ignore the fact that maybe we should have wash them before using. But this was a memorable vacation. We will not forget how sick all of us were that 4 days. Deep creek is beautiful and the Wisp ski was wonderful for that one day we were healthy and were able to ski. But otherwise it was exteremely dissapointing. And to top it all, it was meant to be our New Year family celebration that went horribly wrong with us being so sick and not even able to toast on new years!

We love so many things about the house: the pool table, the hot tub, the loft, the balcony (and the incredible view), the lovely kitchen. Can't wait to return next June!

I found most places in the area too expensive for our family of 6, but this place was right in our range. It was so very convenient to everything, shops, restaurants, the mountain coaster, and other fun things at the top of the mountain too. We were there in July, sat out in the hot tub looking down at the lake, and watched the fireworks being set off that came up to our level. It was great. The place had three levels with three different baths so even though there were 6 of us there, there was still a lot of privacy. The place was very clean. We did have a problem when we ran out of hot water one day, but it was fixed immediately. I would suggest going in August if you want to go swimming because it really is cool there most of the time. We are not skiers and we thought this was absolutely a beautiful place to go in the summer.
