We had out entire family staying at the Rapture home in the Deep Creek Resort. As we walked through Rapture we realized this was a place that was more than adequate. The grandchildren claimed their bedrooms and enjoyed the room dedicated to the ping pong and darts.
Adults had a pool room with a bar, comfy furniture with a large flat squeen TV. The main area was open to all with seating for 10 plus in the dining area. Meal time was made easy - great appliances, fully equipped dishes, utensils, kitchen accessories, etc. A large grill outside with a super size hot tub added fun for all. Each evening became a family game night with lots of laughs.
The adults each had master bedrooms with private baths for each of the bedrooms.
And that is just at Rapture. Across the road with the Wisp area that had activities for each level from preschool to the seniors of the group. All this and within walking area of the Rapture.

We stayed at Rapture in aug. 2012. We have 3 boys and my father joined us as well. Plenty of bedrooms to choose from and one of my boys slept on the sofa bed for a couple of nights to accommodate his uncle who came to stay for a few days with his dog, which he said wasn't too bad. There was a lot to do in the house that kept all of my boys busy. Ping Pong, pool table and the hot tub which was a big hit with my youngest boys. The kitchen was big enough that we all didn't get in each others way. The neighborhood was nice and quaint and quiet and good for walking (it goes in a circle). The location was good too, close to the store, and arcades, ect. The only down fall was the steps down to the dock, which my father was unable to do. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

It was a perfect location. We could walk to the Lodge and slopes. It had far more kitchen utencils then we thought. In the brochure it state that if we needed odd pans etc. to bring them. We did and they were there. It was perfect for our family with the exception of not enough chairs in the living room. Some of us had to sit on the floor. We still had a wonderful time. Thanks.

The house was average. There were a few things that were broken in the house... glasses, door handles, sockets, etc. This house wasn't as opened (spacious) as some of the other houses that I have stayed in. Bedrooms were small and the space in the house was tight. This house also was very close to other houses. There wasn't much privacy. However, I loved the wrap around deck. Read more

Rapture is the home away from home. Every detail that we could want was there. If I can't have it as nice as I have it at home, I don't want it. Rapture had it all. Rapture is just like being at home except I don't have to chance the sheets. Its a perfect retreat when you want to get away. The home is warm and inviting. We loved it there.
We had great time and enjoyed our stay at the house.

Service was fantastic; this is the 5th home we have rented
through you and everyone had been very helpful. The house was great; it was clean, well stocked, great location,
and beautifully decorated. We were close to everything, this
is an ideal location and we would rent the house again. We came with our children who are in the early 20's and they brang friends and they also enjoyed everything including the
pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub. The really was not much I can think of that we did not like except when you went down to the docks, once you came off the steps the dock was under water for about a foot. Rapture is great and your service is wonderful; we also enjoyed the movie rentals this time also.

We arrived on Friday to find everything coated in an inch or two of ice. After very carefully unloading the cars, we ventured out again to get groceries. The ice prevented any outdoor activities, like walks in the snow, building a snowman, etc. Saturday, those who wanted to were able to go to Wisp and ski and snow tube. The next thing we knew, it was Sunday and time to check out!! Next year, we're going to try to stay a day or two longer. The house was beautiful, although the heating was a bit erratic, and it was great having our whole family together. The staff at Railey was so very helpful and nice. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

The Rapture is far beyond what you would expect in a rental property. We
have stayed twice over the past two years and it seems to only get better. It
is immaculate, decorated to the Nines. It is a perfect location, near the
water and the ski slopes, and minutes from shops and places to eat. I must
admit, Deep Creek has few good places to eat, but who comes to just eat
when you can enjoy the outdoors. Even though it is not on the water there
is a wonderful view of the lake from the wrap around deck that also gives
you views of the mountain ski slopes.
The private dock is just a hundred yards away, with easy access down a
beautiful board walk down to the water where we parked our boat. The
view of the mountains from the spacious living room
cathedral ceiling is perfect. I could just live there the rest of my life.
Our family just loves the spacious rooms, three mater bedrooms, along with
the 2 other bedrooms and the pool table on the first level family room, and
massive kitchen that is bright and cheerful. Of course my favorite spot is
the hot tube after diner, under the evening sky.
It really does not get any better than this if you want to get away and relax.
The Rapture is a fitting name for this place. To those who own this
property, you have crated a place worthy of perfection. Thanks for letting
us into your home.
