Delta PAFun weekend
Left on 01/28/2013 for a stay in January 2013
The house was beautifully decorated and plenty of room for 13 adults. The kitchen was a nice size and stocked with all the extras we needed. Having a shower in the powder room in the foyer was nice for when everyone was trying to shower. Was very disappointed in several things at the home. The ice cube maker was not working in the freezer, and the under the cabinet ice maker not working. Had to call maintaince for that, they got the freezer ice cube maker to work but not the under cabinet one. We had selected a home with 2 gas fireplaces for a reason and very disappointed that one of the fireplaces did not work, had to call maintenance and after 2 or 3 trips to the home they told us it could not be fixed. When everyone came in from the slopes and being outside it would have been nice to have both fireplaces working. The jetted tub in the masterbath did not work, called maintenance but no one every worked on it. Hand towel and toilet paper holders in masterbath were not secured to wall, was worried they were going to come totally off the wall. I understand that the last few people to shower might not have hot water or water pressure, but that happened when the first 4-5 people were showering. Beware if you are arriving late at night that the address numbers at the end of driveway have been painted over and are same color as post and you can not see them at night. Vaccuum in laundry room doesn't work, but the one in the foyer does work. Also we knew ahead of time that the pool table was not in the family room, but not as much fun when everyone could not be together when playing games. It was 2 miles from Wisp Ski Resort, which was close and our main reason for staying in the area.

Alexandria, VAGreat Lake Location
Left on 10/22/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Although the house was slightly overpriced, it is quite a gem on the lake. We rented the house with friends and family. Note, it is a bit of a hike down the stairs to the dock. This could be an issue for older or disabled individuals. We found the walk through the woods to the lake quite charming. Also, a few of the bathrooms are shared bathrooms. This made it a little awkward when choosing rooms as we all split the price of the home. Garbage was left in the driveway from previous guest but was quickly cleaned up when we advised the rental manager.

Left on 01/14/2010 for a stay in December 2009
Our experience at Sunkissed Cove was exceptional. This was our 2nd winter holiday staying at this home. It is absolutely huge with room for all of our family activities. The view is beautiful outside with a warm fireplaces on the inside. Our favorite was the large dining room table where all were seated for Christmas dinner. The new appliences in the kitchen were greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this home as well as Railey Vacations.

This is a nice home, beautifully decorated, plenty of sleeping space and easy to find. Liked the firepit area. The only downfall was the long pathway to get to the lake and there is no view of the lake from the deck.

Ocean City, MDLuxury & Relaxation on Deep Creek Lake
Left on 10/14/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Feel free to read my review, or just save a few minutes and book Sunkissed
Cove right now. My search for the perfect vacation home at Deep Creek Lake
was a long one. We were planning on having a small wedding at our rental
house, so we needed something big enough to accommodate our guests. Also,
we wanted to be convenient to WISP, restaurants and shopping. Amenities
were a must as well... the private boat dock that is secluded in the small cove
off of the lake is a perfect setting for fun and relaxation. We watched a meteor
shower from the dock and then roasted marshmallows at the fire pit. Awesome
memories. There was PLENTY of parking at the house, which sits on a large
wooded lot. You are close to your neighbors, but you will never notice them.
The house is in pristine condition and it was so hard to leave it. Our family
and friends still rave about the house and we hope to book it again in the
future. If you need size, seclusion and relaxation, Sunkissed Cove is the best.
The people at Railey were wonderful from start to finish...no comlaints at all.
