We went to Our Heart's Desire for a weekend getaway. It was wonderful. My husband daughter and I found the house to be warm and cozy with all the aminities we needed and then some. The location was perfect to enjoy wisp. We walked the 1/4 mile from the house to the lodge every day and enjoyed all the resort had to offer.
The house was so easy to find and was in a beautiful location with a stream in the back and a wonderful fireplace.
We are dog lovers and were so thrilled that we were able to bring our little buddy Colby along for the weekend.

The house was lovely, all immenities we could need, no hassels with linens and towels, beautiful cool weather in the mountains; what else could one ask for?
This is a great place for a vacation. You can rent anything you want for the lake, boats, tube, skis, etc. The people everywhere are super friendly. And Raily Mtn Rentals was equally top notch!
Ps - heat wave on the east coast but it was cool in McHenry, MD! -

Very Friendly staff, the condo was very quite inside, loved the fireplace,hot tub, great location.Great decor.The hot tub needed stronger jets, and someone needs to check to see if the refrigerator and dishes are clean before the new guests arrive.

We stayed at Heart's Desire for several days during the '06 Winter Olympics. We had a snowstorm, which made it even more perfect, and ended up staying an extra day.
The house was warm and comfortable and just right for me, my husband and daughter, and our big old dog. The gas fireplace became the center of our existence, along with the TV coverage of the Olympics, and the hot tub was a blast.
We had an unforgettable vacation!
