The central location put you within walking distance to your lake access, restaurants and shops and just a short drive to skiing, golf and state parks. Spacious living areas provide ample room for everyone to spread out and enjoy amenities such as a pool table, foosball and air hockey. Large windows and cathedral ceilings reveal lake and slope views from the great room and loft. The Lodge at McHenry Cove Marina is a place for special times with special people.

This home was very accommodating for our three families. Good living space for everyone to share. Also plenty of other rooms to escape to.

It was our sons 21st birthday, and we had a large group to come up to surprise him. We all had a wonderful time together, and it's a memory that will stay with us forever. We hated to leave. The house was just beautiful, and the views were spectacular.
There were a few things that I would upgrade in the house. The stove is one, and the cookware is another. Other than those two things it was perfect.
We DID need the driveway plowed, and requested that twice, and it never happened, but it worked out alright.
The snow was an added bonus. It's ashame they didn't get a chance to ski on the slopes this trip, but it was a little early in the season, so we kind of expected that.
We really enjoyed our stay, and the whole experience was terrific from the time I started looking, to the time we left.
Thanks to everyone involved for the lasting memory.

The home was lovely and provided plenty of space for our group to spread out. Because it is right next to the Go-Carts, it can get noisy on the deck, but you cannot hear the noise inside the house. The lake access area was nice, and the plaza next door has some fun things for the kids. The ice maker was not working when we moved in, and Railey immediately sent someone over with a huge bag of ice and a repairman showed up the next day to replace it. This is not the house you want if you want to experience seclusion, but it was perfect for our mix of adults and children with varied interests.

From the momnent we pulled up to the rental office to pick the keys to the moment we locked the doors and said good-bye, "The Lodge" was a wonder house to stay in for our long weekend.
The house was spacious enough for 8 people that we didn't feel crowded and on top of each other. We liked the location of the house to the lake and to shopping. The house is right next door to "Funland" which had plenty of activities for families to do.
The view from the house was absoluetly breath taking...Fall foliage at its best!
The best part of renting "The Lodge" was the spaciousness. It was a lot better than being crammed into a hotel room for the long weekend.
The least thing I liked were the mattresses. They weren't perhaps as high end a product as you might get at the Wisp Lodge across the lake. I was expecting a lot more comfort from the mattresses than what we got.The house presented so nice that it was a disappointment to know that they skimped on comfort for the beds. Also, my 11 year old son was disappointed that eventhough a basketball hoop was available to use, there was no basketball present at the unit.
Over all impression and experience...FANTASTIC!
