To say that this villa exceeded expectations would be an understatement. First of all, it is perfectly located in the West End, right near beautiful beaches, great restaurants and the nicest island resorts. When we walked into the courtyard, we were completely blown away by the view and the set-up. The main part of the villa was lovely, and the best appointed rental we ever had. We were greeted by a representative from the rental agent, Island Dream Properties, and they had seen to every detail. The fridge was even stocked with all the basics, including cheese, crackers and a lovely bottle of wine! The book and DVD collections rivaled my own. The villa was immaculate, with plush towels and very comfortable mattresses. There were even beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and flippers for our use. The only thing that this villa could use might be a larger (preferable flat-screen) TV. But the TV and DVD player that were there were perfectly functional. The only caveats that I have are:
1) the second bedroom/bath is located across the small courtyard from the main house, so I don't think the villa is suitable for a family with young children. However, it is perfect for two couples, or a couple with older kids; and
2) there are steps in the bathrooms, including the one in the second bedroom (which is a first-floor room) so the property is not handicapped accessible.
Neither of the above presented a problem for us however, so we found it to be perfect. Can't wait to return!
