The Meaford Railroad House is a beautiful refurbished century home near the shores of Georgin Bay and only 2 hours from the Greater Toronto Area. With 7 bedrooms, a full gourmet kitchen, circular private drive and gorgeous manicured grounds, the Meaford Railroad House offers all the comforts of home with the elegance and scerenty of its surroundings. A wonderful property for family gatherings; four season vacations or just a romantic weekend get-away!

Meaford Ontario is located on the southern shores of Georgian Bay. For the outdoor enthusiasts Meaford offers everything from walking, hiking, swimming, boating, fishing and cycling to cross country skiing, down hill skiing and snowmobiling. The beautiful Georgian Trail stretches 32 km from the town of Meaford through wetlands, lilac groves, streams and close to the shores of Georgian Bay right into the town of Collingwood.
There are many events that take place in the town of Meaford on a yearly basis such as the Wiarton Willie Festival in February, Georgian Triangle Anglers Spring Trout Derby, Canada Day Celebrations on July 1st, the Antique Tractor Show & Harvest Celebration and the annual Santa Claus Parade in December.
The Meaford Railroad House is located on a quiet street backing onto the Meaford Harbour and Nottawasaga Bay. The beginning of the Georgian Trail is conveniently located close to the house. Just a short walk will bring you either into town or to the waters edge. The Meaford community is safe and the people are friendly and helpful.

The Meaford Railroad house is a unique place that is very comfortable and spacious. It allows for a fairly large group to be together under one roof. I would recommend the house for any family gathering. Everything is there so its easy all you have to do is bring the food!

I have had the pleasure of spending multiple weeks/weekends at the Meaford Railroad House. It is a gorgeous building with a relaxing and welcoming homey feel. The residence is very clean, nicely decorated and well kept.
It is great for all seasons - It is conveniently located close to the beach, right beside the Collingwood trail and a short drive from the ski hills.
This is a beautiful spot for friends or families to spend some time away together.
I look forward to going back this summer and would highly recommend it.
