This carefully designed two bedroom, two bath, unit has everything a sophisticated individual may desire. There is even a Juan Valdez (Starbucks) in the same building thus, you can either enjoy your Mocha Frappuccino with the social savvy downstairs at Jaun Valdez or bring your drink upstairs to the large balcony that overlooks Medellin and read the daily paper to get your morning started.

The unit features impeccable interior design, a larg...e balcony and all the modern conveniences you could want. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and th second bedroom is a study with workspace and an extra sofa bed for the occasional guest.

  I was here for 4 nights from September 3 - 7, 2012. The apartment is 2 bedroom with a queen in the master and a single / couch in the 2nd bedroom. The sliding glass doors in each bedroom and the living room slide open to the balcony, bringing the apartment together with the outside environment. Since Medellin is the "city of eternal spring" I always had the doors fully open whenever I was there.
  
  I was a little surprised that the place had no air conditioning. I spent 10 minutes scouring the place for the thermostat, only to figure out that there were no air conditioning vents in the ceiling. Once I found the fan in the master closet, I set it up at the end of the bed, and I was very comfortable sleeping at night. I think we get a little addicted to the a/C in Florida. It was odd that the only bedding on the bed was a thin sheet to put over yourself.
  
  There is a security guard at the entrance to the building 24/7, and the neighborhood is upscale. The Santa Fe mall is easily walkable, and is more grand and beautiful than what you would see in most cities in the us. The mall even has a retractable roof to let the sunshine in, or it can close when needed. Oveido mall is close and nice as well.
  
  Lorena and andrew were helpful with the rental, exchanging a cell phone that didn't work. The provided a free cell phone with the apartment for the week, you just need to add minutes to the plan to make it work.
  
  You will not go wrong with this apartment. Clean, secure, excellent location. Taxi drivers couldn't find it based on the address. They do better with "landmark" locations such as big hotels. The Estalar Milla de Oro Hotel is right next door, and the taxi drivers will almost certainly know where that is.
