Sleeping up to four people in two bedrooms, this charming end terraced cottage is in the small village of Foel in Powys, close to Lake Vyrnwy. Foel Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage in Foel, Powys, and offers character accommodation close to good walking and cycling. There is a double room with an en-suite shower room and a double room. There is also a family bathroom. Downstairs is a fitted kitchen, and two sitting rooms, one with a dining area. Outside is off road parking and a crushed slate sitting area. From Foel Cottage, go walking, cycling or take in the castles and attractions of the area.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Cottage was booked last minute and so we were limited on location. The location was not that convenient for seeing Wales and the village had no amenities whatsoever - so getting papers on Sunday etc was a bit of a drive. Also no pub or restaurant very near so we ended up self catering for all evening meals - this was fine for what we wanted.
Cottage was very cosy albeit the living room area furniture is a bit tired. The upstairs was more comfortably fitted out. The cottage is directly onto the main road which was not clear from advert - map showed it a long way from road. Having windows open at night was noisy. Only other criticism was of 'slate terrace' which was a bit of slate chippings at the edge of the car parking area. Cottage would benefit from proper garden area at rear and improve setting.
