It was the 1st time we coose to use a rental appartment for our holiday and it worth it. The location is exelent. Close to crown casino, to tram stop for city or st. kilda. the view was nice as it made me feel like home. The appartment is self serviced, but I have had a nice surprise when we arrived to see that the management provided the laundry powder and wahing up liquid as well as dishwashing powder. Which was nice as we did not have to buy those washing products only for a one week stay. The managment thought of details and it is seen eveywhere you look arround you. There were even boocks and Dvd's if you want to watch something else instead of TV. The DVD player is multiregional and the management was so helpful to find out how we can purchase a multiregion dvd player in australia. Free parking. I have no bad things to say about this apparment and it's management. Thank you Kellie for a wonderful stay in Melboune. We will choose Gem apartments next time we plan a holiday in Melbourne.
The only thing that some people might find it inconvenient is that the rental is for a minimum 7 days. It is not for somone who wants to rent an aparment for less then that. but that did not bother me as my holiday is always for one week or so. Also we payed the whole price as soon as we booked the appartment. -

The Vue grande felt like a home away from home! It was well appointed with all you require in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, lounge, dining and bedroom while enjoying the fantastic view from each room.
We did have a small issue with parking, but our contact for the apartment and the concierge sorted for us without delay.
There were several nights after a jam packed day we would have appreciated room service but with the IGa on the bottom floor we could pop down and get some quite enjoyable ready made meals to heat up and some fresh salad with a nice bottle of wine.
Would highly recommend for convenience to trams, taxi rank at casino, walk across the road to be at the boardwalk at casino, small stroll to docklands, across the river the town and quick entry points to fwy's/hwy's. You are so close to action, you can feel part of it soon a you step out the door! -

We stayed here for 5 days and can't praise it enough. The location, views and quality of everything in the apartment is just stunning! The tram stop is just across the road and takes 5 minutes to get into the centre of Melbourne. The Southbank is a 5 minute walk away and the Docklands area about 20 minutes. The advantages over a hotel room are that you have your own kitchen, bed settee and none of the hassle of maids knocking on the door to clean the room at an unearthly hour!
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we visit Melbourne.

This apartment in in prime location. Literally across the intersection from the Crown Casino and a main tram station. The apartment was clean, quaint and very well equipped. My only concern was that we had to buy our own dishwasher powder even when the owner was alerted that there was none upon arrival

Thank you Monique for your comment. Our apartments are self contained, not serviced, and there should have been enough dishwasher satchets left to get you through the first few days after which you are required to buy your own if necessary. I do remember your phone call and would have been happy to come down and provide some satchets, but you told me you were happy to purchase some. I am sorry if I misunderstood our phone conversation and I take full responsibility for the fact we failed to provide the initial supply. It won't happen again! I hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

We had a really good time, the apartment was modern light and airy with magnificent views of the city.
