My family and I love staying at Le Jardin and return often. It is within a gracious historic building with huge rooms, high ceilings and stained glass,lovely gardens to look out on, and the famous St Kilda Botanic gardens a few steps away. So close to all the buzz and colour of the cafes and bars of St Kilda,yet in quiet leafy Elwood with instant access to public transport to connect with everywhere in Melbourne.
The apartment is furnished with interesting antiques, comfy sofas and heavenly beds and linen and the kitchen in well equipped for a cook up - but why bother when the best restaurants are so close. Boutique Stays provide a lovely welcome pack with delicious toiletries and kitchen essentials to get you going and their management and attention to detail is faultless -

fantastic place to stay .quiet and pleasant surroundings ...great service with booking arangements ... would have liked to stay longer ..maybe again next xmas..

we arrived and found the apartment already warm with heaters on which was great as it was freezing and rainy out...the main bedroom is huge and the apartment is decorated in a warm and homely manner. the kids shared the double bed, beds were all comfortable, lovely linen and good pillows...hotel comforts with the bonus of feeling like home. my only complaint with 3 kids is a dishwasher would come in handy!! ( i realise space is a limitation here and a washing machine instead!) overall i would stay there again and highly recommend for couple or family stays.

Easy short walk to restaurants, bars, transport and the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Apartment is ideal, spacious, comfortable and has all the amenities along with a good assortment of appliances, plates, flatware and glasses. Wireless too. Beds are comfortable with good quakity linens Only improvement would be a lounge or chairs for the veranda/patio area.
