Additional Location Information
Caulfield, with a population of 4,790, lies 8km south-east from Melbourne's CBD. It is a leafy inner city suburb best known as the location of Caulfield Racecourse and the Caulfield campus of Monash University. It borders St Kilda, Brighton, Prahran and Armadale and therefore is well positioned to take advantage of the famous strip shopping strips in each of those suburbs (Carlyle St, Acland St, Fitzroy St, Chapel St and Glenferrie Rd).
Suburban living doesn't get much better than this. Enjoy the open parkland 20 metres from your door step, and the spacious grounds of princess park which are just a stones throw away. But beyond the tranquility of the parks, theres a multicultural buzz with vast range of eateries/restaurants, public transport at your doorstep and luxurious and spacious living.

MelbourneConvenient and comfortable!

We were there (family of 4) for 5 weeks and whilst its not ideal for a family for such a long stay (small), it was really terrific. Location is great, excellent parks nearby and a fabulous cafe (amongst other conveniences) and with air conditioning and heating, it's very comfortable. Customer service and responsiveness was outstanding, I really cannot fault them. Highly recommend it.

Arrangements for the property were all efficient & timely. Instructions on how to access the property were clear & simple. The apartment was perfect for us with a 2.5 year old. Safe & roomy courtyard & large living area allowed for play inside & out. The park across the road was a welcome bonus, although quite a walk to the playground equipment. The parking was a little tight, and the street parking limited, but it was fine with a medium car. We will be keeping this property on the last for future visits, and have recommended to others. We felt quite at home, with fully furnished 2 bedrooms, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, etc, etc.

SydneySpacious family accommodation in a quiet, suburban setting.
Left on 03/01/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Best described as a townhouse, this accommodation met the expectations I had derived from the website I found it on. The booking process was seamless. Staff were quick to get back to me when I left messages, by both email and phone.
It has one adjoining wall to the property at the front however they are not loud people. There are two other properties at the back (all using the one driveway). Apart from one of them being a keen gardener they keep to themselves and are rarely seen.
The home was beautifully furnished. Although the bathrooms were quite old they were clean and fully functional. There was more than enough comfortable bedding. The port-a-cot was not in the apartment as we had requested but this was quickly remedied when brought to their attention. There was no highchair and I'm not sure if you could ask to use one.
There is a washing machine and dryer, as well as a great clothes line but it's BYO pegs and basket. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The dishwasher is old but functions well.
You need a car if you want to stay here although Melbourne public transport is excellent. I noticed a bus stop out the front and regular buses going by. It's just not an easy option for us as we have three small children. The nearest train station is a good 15- 20 minute brisk walk away.
There is a great park/ playground about 5- 10 minutes walk away, and open grass/ bike tracks directly across the road. If you look on google earth it looks as though there is a playground right across the road, but that belongs to the primary school and is fenced off/ inaccessible.
It is a green, leafy suburb with grocery shopping nearby.
Only a short drive to the fabulous Chadstone Mall which is well worth a look. It is also in great proximity to the city.
The worst thing about staying here would be if you don't have a car and you do have kids... but it is hard to say what the best thing is because it really was like a home away from home. -
