This 2-bedroom condo is perfect for families with children or friends visiting Melbourne. Located on the 2nd floor of shops, restaurants, trendy pubs, cafes, activities and entertainment . This is a very new and exciting tourist precinct on the Melbourne waterfront. To the city centre, its just a short walk or 5 minute ride on the free tram, free tourist bus, or pay trams 86, 70 or 48. Etihad Stadium is just a very short walk and its just 20 minutes on tram 70 to the MCG, AAMI Park and the Melbourne Park Tennis Centre.

This very quiet, modern, 2-bedroom, 2nd floor (with lift access), apartment is at the new Harbour Town cafe and retail shopping precinct at Waterfront City, Melbourne Docklands. Its just 200 metres from the Victoria Harbour New Quay waterfront promenade with its harbourside restaurants and regular activities. A brand new Olympic ice sports centre (The Icehouse), which is open for public ice skating daily, and the Wonderland Fun Park with rides for children are just next-door neighbors.

The apartment itself has 2 bedrooms, one central bathroom with shower and laundry facilities, including a washing machine/clothes dryer in one. The kitchen overlooks the open-plan living/dining area and is fully-equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove/oven and a microwave oven. The living/dining area is stylishly furnished and contains an LCD television. Queen-bedroom and the living room have view of the Southern Star Observation Wheel while the other bedroom looks into the inner courtyard. Both have built-in wardrobes, fresh air and lots of natural light.

Special features include; private balcony, reverse cycle heating/air-conditioning with heating to all rooms, intercom, electronic door entry system and lift access to the apartment.

  Big management scam.. Beware

  We rented this apartment for 3 nights. The apartment is lovely and has a great location.
  However, it is managed very poorly. Even though the manager who let us into the apartment (Victoria?) emphasized on how she was making sure it was freshly cleaned (and the floor was wet), there was trash under the nightstands in the bedroom and many plates, glasses and cooking utensils in the kitchen were stained with chocolate syrup and grease.
  Also, there are big cockroaches, the shower leaks into the area outside, the aC broke in the sweltering heat and they would not send a maintenance guy (apparently they do not work on Holidays).
  Also, the managers of the property are making money off the owner, who apparently does not live in the town. We drove from Sydney on the day of rental and reached around 6 pm. Even though Trish Clark (the main manager) was aware of our plan from the beginning, she chose to tell us only at the last minute that there would be an additional $50 charge for check in if we checked in at anytime other than at 2 pm. She also told us that the extra charge would be $100 if we checked in after 12 midnight. We have never heard of such a thing. We are paying for rental for that day. We have heard of charge for early check in or late check out and even those are mostly complementary. We had no option but to go ahead with the rental at this late hour.
  To make matters worse, when we reached there, we were told and it was obvious that they had allowed a late check out that day and they were just finishing clean up. They obviously charged the previous occupants for the late check out which the lady checking us in confirmed and she charged us for checking in “late”
  And, all payments were cash and no receipts were given.
  Big big scam!!!
  The managers are making money off the owner!!
  So, be careful renting this property and definitely do not rent it in summer or on a Holiday!! Your aC or anything else cannot be fixed at that time.
  There is no supervisor/manager/owner that you can call/complain to, just the person who lets you in, who says she is just a worker but she is also the adhoc manager with power to charge extra but not fix any issues.

  Near shops and restaurants at Docklands and Harbour Town. Free city circle tram stop very close by.
  
  A good option if you want to be near city but avoid expensive CBD rates. Would stay here again.

  Brilliant location

  The accommodation was really close to the casino,south bank and the city with views to die for.The kids and ourselves loved it... Our kids are 14 and 12. the only problem was the 2nd bedroom was really just an alcove without a door plus a single bed. We were able to sleep both kids in there though as there was a single sofa bed we were able to fit in there..would still highly recommend it for a couple or a couple with one child or small children..

  This house is very conveniently located the river, and I was able to walk to it. The house has a wonderful view of the Star Ferris Wheel. It's also very clean which is important to me. I had a great time there and hope to rent it agin next time I visit Melbourne.
