Aphrodite was most kind and helpful throughout the stay, especially when my flight to leave changed to the very early morning. She personally arranged a trusted and reliable cab for me, and was there to introduce me to the driver. Apartment was great, and even though first day was close to 100 degrees F., with the fan it was quite comfortable. Wifi worked well, as did everything else. Easy access to Melbourne as it is less than 10 minutes walk to train or tram, and bus stop much closer. Across from lovely Elsternwick Park, a great place to run in the mornings, and see lots of aussies out also. Definitely would return.

We definitely chose very well staying at Elwood Beach apartment - it is a beautifully decorated apartment in a great location. Our accommodation was just as described in the listing with additional touches. After a long flight we woke the next morning to find coffee, tea, milk & muesli which was all provided in the apartment - even toothpaste was in the bathroom!!! We enjoyed being beachside throughout the hot summer days whilst still close to the city. The added plus was riding our bikes in the morning along the Elwood canal track all the way through St Kilda & Port Melbourne beach bike path and then straight into the city. A perfect & delightful stay in Melbourne...will be back again!

I spend several weeks here and I was sorry to leave. The apartment was pristine clean, comfortable and very, very cozy. Around the corner is a row of coffee shops and cafes as well as a grocer that inspires many home cooked meals. Plus you're a short walk from the carnival/party atmosphere of St. Kilda or the Elsternwick shopping district and a quick train ride to the heart of Melboune.

Lovely apartment located near the beach. Great place to relax just outside the CBD. Aphrodite is an excellent host and the apartment was sunny and very well-maintained. The free wifi was very much appreciated-:)

We stayed 5 nights at this lovely Elwood Beach apartment during a 3 week vacation to australia. It was by far our favourite accommodation of the trip! The furnishings were very tasteful and modern and the unit came equipped with not only everything you could possibly need but several additional thoughtful touches. Everything was impeccably clean and in perfect repair. The apartment is located in a great neighbourhood just a short walk to groceries, restaurants, shops, and the beach. It is also not far from the tram line which we took downtown everyday. Our host aphrodite was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic stay at Elwood Beach apartment, great location and wonderful apartment. I would recommend it to all!!
The apt was clean and has got everything you need and more !!
Just a few minutes walk to the beach and to some shops and bars.
Aphrodite is an awesome person !! Helpful all the time!! She lives near the apartment and you can call her any time whatever you need.
Thanks again for made my stay unforgettable.

First it was a real pleasure to meet aphrodite. She was really helpful and went out of her way to look after us. The flat was great, clean, tidy and everything we needed. Good location to with beach and shops just around the corner. Recommended and thx again aphrodite!

Modern design, great subtleties, really great location. If you're looking to relax and need a quiet feel good place with a cruisy neighborhood, i'd shoot this place to the top of your list. And primarily because it's host - Aphrodite, is a key ingredient. She made my stay fantastic. Her energy, enthusiasm, and assistance was flawless. If tripadvisor had awards, she'd be in the running for the top gong.

We had a perfect 4 night stay at Elwood Beach apartment. From the outset aphrodite was the perfect host provding us with all the help we could possibly need for a perfect stay. She even bought me a new pillow to satisfy my whims! The apartment itself is newly refurbished. It is stylish and modern while also feeling very homely and comfortable. Colours are light and bright. The bed was very comfortable, we had lots of TV choices with Foxtel, the kitchen was outfitted with all you need and beautiful aphrodite left the fridge and pantry very well stocked right down to the bottle of pink bubbles that we devoured almost immediately! All perfect! Our main reason for choosing this location was to be close to our daughter. However, we found the public transport easy and it is only a street away from a plethora of shops and cafs and another block takes you to the beach.
