Located on 2 acres of beautiful gardens situated well off the main road in Croydon. Croydon is an eastern suburb of Melbourne close to Ringwood, Lilydale, Kilsyth, Boronia and Bayswater within an easy 30 minute drive of the city. The cosmopolitan township of Croydon has multiple cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Croydon station is on a direct line to Melbourne and takes approx 45 mins. Only 10 minutes to the Yarra Valley Wine district and the Dandenong Ranges where guests can enjoy the Puffing Billy Steam Train through Sherbrooke forest or get up close and personal with Koalas and Kangaroos at the Australian Fauna Park at Healesville Sanctuary.

I recently travelled to Melbourne and needed a place to stay over a long weekend in the suburbs away from the city. I found the Bungungyah villas very clean with more than enough comforts to make my stay easy. I would recommend these villas to anyone and will be staying there again in future trips.

We stayed in Margriet Villa at Bungunyah apartments for 19 nights and found it to be perfect for our requirements. It is very comfortable and has quality furnishings, appliances, and linen and is decorated beautifully with lovely little personal touches such as Christmas decorations as we were staying during the Christmas period. The courtyard is charming and very private. Lisa and Kaas, our hosts, were extremely helpful and friendly. Bungunyah is positioned ideally close to a good shopping village as well as to the Dandenongs and Yarra Valley. We felt Margriet was very good value for money.

We found the Bunganyah apartments lived up in every way to the website description. The Margreit Villa is a new modern single bedroom apartment with excellent facilities, furnished and decorated to a high standard with friendly and helpful owner/managers who live on site.
The location is convenient for visiting the Eastern Melbourne suburbs, the Yarra Valley vineyards and the Dandenongs.
Site access is good, there is ample car parking and outside garden space with BBQ provided.
We had a very enjoyable stay and have very positive feelings with regard to Bungunyah apartments. -

Very relaxed setting ,with beautifully appointed unit with everything one could wish for.As we didn't have personal transport we needed to rely on local family or long walks to the station

We booked this villa over the Internet as a base for visiting family and friends in Melbourne. Lisa was very helpful in getting the booking in place and even arranged for an out of hours access as our flight did not arrive in normal working hours.
The property is spacious and well furnished, with all mod cons (including TV in botgh lounge and bedroom) and a well appointed kitchen area.
We wanted a location that allowed us to travel into the City, to vist friends and relatives across various suburbs, and that gave us a base to tour the outlying countryside. Margriet Villa was perfect for all of those - and had the benefit of a number of good restaurants within easy (car travelling) distance.
We will certainly want to stay here again should we return for another holiday visit.

from arrival to departure it was great! the apartment/villa had
everything you could want including a washer & dryer! with the
wet weather we had that was great! despite being on a busy road
it wasnt too noisy and the layout and decorations were excellent-
right down to the umbrella in the bedroom! we would definitely
stay again when we have to go to melbourne as it was close to
a shopping centre too -

Lovely appartment, very well appointed and delightfully cosy. Really liked the better than average fittings and features, quality that made the stay more enjoyable. Very handy for amentities and transport.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 day stay at Bungunyah. The rooms were bright and warm, the surrounding gardens were a delight, I didn't get to meet Lisa but found Kees to be charming.

we stayed at bungunyah appartments for the first time in january, we stayed in the new margriet villa, it was beautiful to say the least. tastefully decorated, close to all amenities, the bed was honestly the best bed i have ever slept in,and lisa and kees were there if you needed anything, but left you in peace to relax and enjoy the holiday. we will definately be returning to bungunyah. everything was just perfect.

From check in to check out the service was 1st class.
The units are tastefully outfitted and the inclusion of Dvd's and books add to the home feel.

From the start Lisa and Kees did everything to make me feel at home. I was in Croydon for a conference so was out of the apartment most of the day but it was good to come back to such a well appointed apartment. Lisa and Kees were so helpful in giving me directions to where I had to go and Kees also gave me a lift to the station at the end of my stay. I cannot find any faults and would go back there if I have to be in the area.
