Sandcastle B&B; is situated in Melkboschstrand, a coastal village 30 km north of Cape Town and gateway to the famous West Coast. We have a three star grading from Tourism SA and the Automobile Association (AA) graded us as a highly recommended establishment. Sandcastle is perfect for travelers and business guests.
We are very close to the beach and our balconies and sun deck have spectacular views of the Melkbosch beach, Atlantic ocean, Table Mountain and Robben Island.

Sandcastle B&B; is situated in Melkboschstrand, a coastal village 30 km north of Cape Town and gateway to the famous West Coast. We have a three star grading from Tourism SA and the Automobile Association (AA) graded us as a highly recommended establishment. Sandcastle is perfect for travelers and business guests.
We are very close to the beach and our balconies and sun deck have spectacular views of the Melkbosch beach, Atlantic ocean, Table Mountain and Robben Island.
ROOMS
All our rooms are en suite and equipped with air conditioners, satellite television, digital safe, internet access and complimentary tea/coffee. Three rooms have queen beds and one room has two single beds.
From our sea facing rooms, the balconies offer excellent beach views. Fine linen is used and we provide towels and guest amenities.
IN THE AREA
A shopping centre, bars and restaurants are in close proximity, some within walking distance!
The famous West Coast National park, which is visited by travelers during the flowering season in spring, is close to Melkbosch. The Koeberg Nature Reserve has hiking trials and cycling is also permitted.
ACTIVITIES
During whale season, guests can look at these magnificent creatures from the deck or balconies.
Guests have exclusive access to our solar heated swimming pool and braai facilities.
We also have several qualified tour guides from which guests can choose for tailor-made. A small kitchenette for self catering purposes and/or quick dinners is also available.
Surfing, standing-up-paddling, kite-surfing, wind sailing, kayaking and fishing are popular activities in and around Melkboschstrand. There is a skydiving club close to town. They offer solo tandem jumps. We can also help to book a surfing course should you be interested.

We received excellent service from all the staff. The house and rooms were clean, neat and very comfortable. The house is situated at a perfect spot, stunning sea view and the beach on your door step.

I have been staying there for the last year or so . I have had no need to look elsewhere as all my requirements are met. The owners go the extra mile and are excellent hosts. I also meet other travellers there who also always come back to Sand Castle
