There is nothing I can possibly say that can describe the true "splendor" of this place and it's serene, spiritual beauty. If I could have my heaven here on Earth, it would be this. I had that heaven for three amazing days with my husband. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather, but any type of weather would be enjoyable here. The views are beyond anything I can describe, the house morphs perfectly into the surroundings. Everything about the place is lovingly cared for and amazingly situated. You feel at home immediately. The kitchen is the most well equipped I have ever seen, ever. Buy plenty of groceries before you come. You will actually want to cook on your vacation. The outdoor hot tub on the master bedroom deck was fabulous for sun sets over the Pacific and watching a zillion stars come out at night. There's a rhythm to this place and you fall into immediately, almost like a dream. I wept the morning we left, for a long time. We will be back as soon as humanly possible. If you're thinking about it, just do it. There's no way you can possibly be disappointed.

Yosemite National Park, CaliforniaUnbelieveable!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights - wish it could have been more. The views from all rooms (including the closet and one bathroom!) were incredible ocean views. The only time we left the property was to get food - we'd bring it back and eat there. It was very clean upon our arrival and didn't feel that we needed to rewash things before we used them (which we have most definitely done other places.)
The property is very private and no noise from anything at all (except the buoy in the ocean.)
There is a fireplace in the living room and also in the bedroom. There is also central heat. The TV in the bedroom is quite small - which wasn't an issue for us; we were there to see the view!
There is a fully equipped kitchen; I just didn't want to spend my time cooking and cleaning up. (There is a refrig., stove, microwave, dishwasher - spice shelves that would rival any at a store, dishes, utensils, etc.) There are pots and pans, veggie steamer, etc. Really about anything you'd need or want.
There is a very large bathroom w/2 sinks, separate shower and tub (w/an ocean view!!!) The only change or suggestion we'd have is to have drinking glasses (or paper cups) in the bathroom, so that the guest doesn't need to bring them from the kitchen - and also it would have been very special to have bath salts provided (as is most often the case with very nice lodging.)
There is also a hot tub on the deck; we did not use that - no problems, just something we didn't do.
There is also a washer and dryer - new looking. We didn't use these, but supplies are there.
There is one queen bed - again, overlooking the ocean - it is quite incredible. We enjoyed strolling around the lovely property, too. I had a major problem here and we had to be creative. The bed if very high - I am just under 5'2" and could not climb up. We managed to come up w/a solution - but . . a little step or something would have been most welcome (can't imagine I"m the shortest person to be traveling!!!)
There is a little table for two at one side of the living room (which is where we ate our meals) and a formal table in the dining room. There are at least 3 separate decks outside you can sit on to see the views (if not too chilly).
Had the cost been lower, we would have stayed longer. We were actually in the area over a week, and while some of the other places were very nice and we enjoyed them, this is the only place we took pictures!
There are tons of books and I so enjoyed my time seeing what was there and reading things of interests - travel books, cookbooks - shelves of them!, classics, current novels, finances, etc.
As my husband arranged for this, the staff was very nice and so pleasant. It was an anniversary trip for us, and they had a Happy anniversary sign up in the living room for our arrival.
Regarding the question below - on the type of travelers it would be for - my hsuband said that by contract agreement, only 2 people are allowed - and no parties. So . . "yes" to young singles or friends getaway - w/the above items in mind. Also - regarding "travelers with disabilities" - it would depend on the disability -again the bed is very high, the spaces are very open in the entrance way, dining room, living room, bedroom. The bathroom (sink/shower) would probably be OK (although the toilet area would not be wheelchair accessible) - and I don't think someone w/disabilities could get into the bed.
