The Vineyard Lodge is luxurious and spacious, consisting of four king bedrooms, each with their own bathroom suite, private entrance and terrace.

As you travel down the long, promising drive to the property, you find the Vineyard Lodge entrance flanked by four grand pencil pines and illuminated water feature.

A majestic double door opens up to an entrance wall of huge canvas pictures of the Tussie Mussie roses. It's a breathtaking welcome to your Vineyard Lodge.

The next room you enter, is the lounge of the lodge with high ceilings and a stunning view of the terrace and valley beyond.

The Vineyard Lodge lounge is furni...shed with provencal style, unbleached linen soft furnishings (2 lounge suites 2 armchairs and large sit on ottoman).

In the centre is a large coffee table made locally from old wood reclaimed from the Peninsula pier.

This large, light space makes a comfortable and convivial space for you and your guests to relax and enjoy.

It has a reverse cycle air conditioning unit, a large enclosed wood fire, high quality Geneva music system including iPod dock, and an impressive French farmhouse dining table that comfortably seats 8 in elegant rattan dining chairs.

The perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast whilst looking down the vineyard through plantation shutters.

The floor to ceiling wood wall is a feature of the room and compliments this traditional, quality mud brick construction. It emanates the faint smell of redgum. There is a natural aromatherapy everywhere in the quiet air of Tussie Mussie.

A fantastic separate media and movie room with a large Pioneer LCD TV and DVD, Bose surround sound system, "block out" floor to ceiling silk curtains and several comfy "gold class" recliners to complete your cinema experience. Enjoy a "Big Night In" without going out!

The Vineyard Lodge has 4 stunning suites, all with their own lounging area, TVs and two even have their own wood burning fires for extra warmth in winter.

One of the suites The Hilligdon Suite has a separate lounge room, complete with "sink in" comfy linen lounge suite and ottoman. It's perfect for curling up and watching the large screen LCD TV with DVD and working your way through the movie library.

There's even a bar fridge to keep the bubbles cold!

The unique items collected by the owners from antique sheds on the Mornington Peninsula form a stylish and intriguing environment.

Combined with the texture of the mud brick walls and wood fires there is a warmth and welcoming reassurance about Tussie Mussie that guarantees instant relaxation.

All the beds are dressed in luxury Sheridan 1000 thread count cotton sheets and soft towels.

Enjoy a beautiful double storm shower or bath using the organic Australian toiletries supplied - step onto the heated bathroom floor and relax to the music on your in room iPod dock.

Three of the suites have baths including The Hillingdon Suite that has a huge corner spa bath.

The large king beds and luxury mattresses offer you a wonderful night sleep.

All the suites have their own terraces and separate entrances making The Vineyard Lodge both convivial for a large group of friends and family, yet enabling each guest to enjoy the privacy of their own suite.

The stunning teatree archways covered in roses; the secret pathways flanked with ferns and agapanthus, and the little hidden bird boxes amongst the camellia bushes make Tussie Mussie truly an enchanted garden.

The Vineyard Lodge offers a fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances (Fisher & Paykel and Blanco) and baking/ cooking utensils that will delight the most committed cooks.

Take the Maggie Beer cookbook off the shelf and it may be the inspiration for your vineyard feast on The Long Table, or your picnic down at the dam.

There is a separate laundry for guests' use, with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.

There is also a powder room off The Vineyard Lodge entrance hallway.

VINEYARD LODGE TERRACE

The Vineyard Lodge Terrace overlooks the breathtaking landscape, offering a great place to socialise or simply relax in comfort. Fully furnished with two large 2-seater as well as a 3-seater cushioned lounges, multiple coffee tables and 2 ample shade umbrellas you will love spending time here. Also features a generous sized BBQ.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

THE LONG TABLE - overlooks the vineyard, colorful rose garden and manicured grass, provides an amazing place to enjoy the company of your guests at Tussie Mussie.

THE PIZZA OVEN - Made out of brick and clay, this good sized pizza outdoor oven also features a large Jumbuck BBQ allowing you to cook up a feast.

THE VINEYARD KITCHEN - interesting open plan premises separate to the main lodge and to the other vineyard properties. It can be used, for a small fee, to entertain a group of guests.

  Your own Tuscan villa on the Peninsula

  Our group of four couples stayed in the Lodge at Tussie Mussie.
  This is an exceptionally well appointed four bedroom house (villa really) with just about everything you could wish for and more. This really does feel like being in someone's home with access to all the 'stuff' that goes with that.
  The grounds and vineyard are lovely and include vegetable gardens with tomatoes, eggplant, chills and more to supplement your cooking. There is also an outside wood fired pizza oven if you're adventurous and organised enough!
  Cooking here is a great idea because of the well appointed kitchen and it allows you to enjoy more time in and around the house and gardens. It probably makes sense if planning a trip here to do the vineyards and maybe lunch out then 'chillax' back at the house in afternoon/evening to max the time enjoying it.
  There is a great patio with sofas and couches outside to allow you relax, look at the scenery and watch the stars or the outside fireplace. There's also enough space for each couple to find there own if that's their thing.
  On arrival you are given a well stocked breakfast 'hamper' with fresh eggs, bacon and selection of breads and pastries.
  The four king size bedrooms are all very well appointed and have separate bathrooms, the only suggestion would be to change what are quite firm mattresses.
  This is a pretty special place worth sharing with good friends!

  The most beautiful setting for our holiday at this stunning vineyard and rose farm. The aroma of the many floral and herb gardens will stick in my mind forever. The quality furnishings and many extras were appreciated. The breakfast hamper was delicious!!

  What a time we had at Tussie Mussie! The properties are nothing short of stunning with every imaginable comfort. We used the Long Table for a special dinner which was magical to say the least. We will return for sure.
