This welcoming cottage has three first-floor bedrooms (able to sleep six people over two doubles and one twin) and has beautiful views over the village towards the harbour. This is a warm, welcoming stone-built cottage nestled amidst a cobbled terrace that overlooks the Cornish fishing village of Mevagissey. Decorated to a very high standard and well furnished throughout, this lovely property boasts an open-plan living-area with well-equipped modern fitted kitchen and dining table. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We chose this cottage as we needed to be in Mevagissey and it looked superb on the website. We were not disappointed. It is in a superb location and has a very homely feel due to its tasteful decoration. It is also very well equipped and clean.
We were there as a family over three generations (and the family dog ...) and we all fell in love with it.
I recommend this cottage highly -

This cottage is decorated throughout in a nautical theme - very pleasing and some tasteful artefacts. Good location, only a few minutes from the main shopping area and the harbour. Throughly enjoyed our holiday here.

The property is lovely and is situated in a really relaxing place. Its very quiet but is still a stonesthrow from Mevagisseys harbour and shops (amongst which you will find some really nice local crafts). We had some lovely meals out at the local restaurants and pubs and the fish and chips were amazing. I think the most challenging part of the holiday was getting the car back out of the VERY VERY!! tight lane leading up to the cottage. You are warned about this but I can't emphasise enough if you have a car bigger than a mini or KA I would advise you to not even go there because it really is tight. My car came back with the injuries to prove it. So just factor in £25 extra per week for the car park just down from the house. Whats great is you are on the coast path in minutes and you are really close to Heligan gardens which is great for a day out. The property does have storage heaters which I just couldn't get the hang of as they seemed to come on at odd hours in the middle of the night and then not in the day so if you are going in the winter be prepared with some jumpers.
The property doesn't have a washing machine so again factor this in if you are going for more than a week. Overall I thought the stay was great and the comments above are just minor things so people can be prepared. I would definately go back and stay there as I loved the atmosphere of Mevagissey, the property is really well decorated with some lovely touches such as candles. It's very welcoming and peaceful and the owner is extremely helpful.
