Lawrenceville, GAEveryone was happy with this place!
Left on 04/25/2013 for a stay in April 2013
I traveled with my three children for our spring break - two teens and a 7yr old. The layout was perfect -- twin beds in second bedroom are so much more useful than another queen bed. The kitchen has everything you need, right down to the oyster knives, plus a large empty cupboard to put away your groceries/ paper plates etc. No DW, but new double sink with sprayer so really not a problem. The sofas were comfortable for sitting and lounging -- didn't use the sleeper. Beds are very comfortable. The deck is lovely, large gas grill. During our stay, the other unit was empty, so it was like having a house rather than duplex. That said, our side of the deck had loungers with cushions and a picnic table -- amenities the other side of the deck didn't have. Not sure how that works out when both sides are rented. The lots behind and beside this property are empty and for sale. Until something is built on them, the view is lovely -- sunsets from the deck every night. No noise issues with traffic on 98. Beach access can't be beat. Good location for eating out (Killer Seafood rules), walking to the pier, buying seafood at the Shell Shack. We all loved it! The rental agents were very helpful -- our first visit to Mexico Beach.

My daughter is starting nursing school and would not be able to attend our annual family florida vacation. She asked if we could go just us girls...we decided to do this and it was wonderful. We will stay again if we can. We loved it. It was wonderful. Forgotten Coast reality is awesome...thanks Teresa. We always rent our yearly homes with Teresa.

The rental was exactly like the pictures. Great ocean view from the deck. Would be perfect for small children. It was a little tight when you have two teenagers over 6' tall :)
Would have been nice to have a dishwasher. Outside shower was nice to keep from dragging sand inside. There is also a fish cleaning station with running water out back.
Could use a new couch, as the pull out is no longer operable. It would be a great place if two families were coming since you can rent out both sides of the house.
All beds must be new; they are pillow top and very comfortable. -

Kouts, IndianaAnother Great Week at Cocajoma 2
Left on 04/11/2012 for a stay in April 2012
This was our second spring break trip to Mexico Beach and we could not be happier. This year it was just my wife and I and the unit is perfect for us. Steps from the beach and very private area of the beach compared to other spots at MB. We grilled out for supper regularly throughout the week. We picked up fresh shrimp steamed while we wait at the Shell Shack along with some fresh Tuna steaks one night. We love MB and Gulf Foods feels like we are at home every time we walk in as the staff is like family and they have everything we need. We ate twice at the Fish House and tried something different each time we even had breakfast their on Sunday. Beach Pizza was another spot we hit on our first night after a long drive.

This was our 2nd stay at Cocajoma 2. We prefer this location because there's a clear view of the beach without the cost of beachfront property. We had everything we needed. Our only hesitation to recommend this property is that we will not be able to have when we get ready to visit again.

The staff at forgotten coast were very courteous and helpful. Cocajoma 2 was a great location, we were a very short walk from the beach and with two kids under 5 that was a must! We had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend this to anyone! If you are looking for a relaxing, easy-going place this is your best bet.

Cocojama2 was amazing. This was our first trip to Mexico Beach but it won't be our last ! Sunset walks on the beach, coffee on our deck while watching the dolphins in the morning and fun and sun all day long. My husband and I went to Cape San Blas which was beautiful as well as Crooked Island. The house was a perfect location and the view was fabulous. We had a broken coffee pot and that night at dinner we met someone from Forgotten Coast and in passing I mentioned it to him, by the time we got home from dinner, there was a new coffee pot on our porch !! That is great service !! All in all a great trip

Good for children. Nice parking under the rental unit and nice deck. It fit our desire to be away from the hustle and bustle and nightlife and enjoy a relaxing get away. Only downside was the constant stream of traffic on Hwy 98, but Unit 2 is shielded from the noise and is Gulf side.

We loved this cute house! Everything was great! We only stayed 3 nights but had everything we needed! Only one thing could have made it perfect if it would have been right on the beach. Although it is only a very short walk to the beach which was so nice I personally prefer to stay beachside.

Left on 06/25/2010 for a stay in June 2010
The unit was very clean and relaxing. The twin beds were perfect for our young boys. The walk to the beach was easy and so close and the outdoor shower was great. The deck was nice and became a great reading spot. My only suggestions would be a laundry basket and a few more towels and washcloths, as we had to wash often to have enough. A dishwasher would be ideal, but paper plates and plastic utensils helped with that. The beach was the best I have ever seen and not crowded.

Left on 03/11/2010 for a stay in March 2010
Check-in was easy. CJ2 was extremely neat, clean, and well-appointed. Great view of Gulf. Terrific deck that kept us out of the wind so we could get a little mid-day sun despite 50s temps. Had a problem with the DVD player and it was replaced next day. Very nice place - would stay again. Highly recommended.

Left on 01/15/2010 for a stay in December 2009
The heat was on and the keys immediately available for us when we arrived.
The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. The location was perfect as we were able to view the sunsets and sunrises over the gulf. The beach was mere steps from our door. The deck made our view of the beach perfect without any obstruction. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. Shopping was within a few minutes as well as the restaurants.
The location and apartment are perfect for anyone who loves the water and sunsets.
It would have been nice to have another bath and a dishwasher, but we managed. I like to cook my meals and there could have been more cookware; however, I am probably one of very few who prefers cooking to eating out.
I will definitely rent it again and again whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Hermitage, TNFeels Like Home!
Left on 08/24/2009 for a stay in October 2008
We've stayed here once and already made our reservations for our next trip. We loved staying here. The house is so comfortable; it feels like our very own home away from home. The house is very clean and the furnishings are nice and comfortable. The linens/towels were very nice. The view was almost as good as being right on the beach. We spent most of our time on the deck watching the birds fly by and listening to the waves!
The rental company went above and beyond the call of duty for us. They were very nice and professional. We had to drive through hours of pouring down rain to get there so we were running late. Teresa delivered our keys in hurricane-like rain! (Luckily it quit raining that night and it was BEAUTIFUL for the rest of the trip.)
I can only think of two bad things about the entire experience. The traffic from the highway is really loud. You do get used to it after a while but it is pretty annoying at first. Also, the cooking supplies are slightly meager. If you are a gourmet, you may have a hard time pulling it all together.
All in all, I can't recommend this place enough. I can't think of any reason why anyone wouldn't be pleased with their vacation! -

Left on 08/12/2009 for a stay in March 2008
We were pleased with our stay at Cocajoma 2. It was clean, well stocked and just a short walk to the beach. This unit is located in a great spot on the beach side of Hwy 98. The pier was a nice walk and there were several restaurants to choose from all walking distance. We enjoyed the back deck on this unit, it had partial view of the ocean and great place to watch the sunset every evening.

The place was nice. Good view of the water from the deck. The big back yard is a good place to park a boat. You can pull it in directly from Hwy. 98.
