Description from the manager
So, you've got your bathing suit out and you want to take a trip to the beach. You look out and your husband is rigging his reels and prepping the boat to go fishing. At Sunset Harbor both of your dreams will come true. At Sunset Harbor, you're a 3 minute walk away from the sugar white sand and blue water of Mexico Beach. At Sunset Harbor, you walk down to your own boat slip, jump in your boat and your 20 minutes away from the buoy line to troll for Spanish and King or 35 minutes away from the car bodies to bottom fish for Snapper and Grouper. As the day winds down, sit out on the balcony overlooking the Mexico Beach canal and watch the...Read more

Buford, GaGreat for boat with Kids
Left on 04/11/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Perfect for a boat and kids. The marina is a block away you can walk or stop by to fuel up on your way out. Slip has fresh water to clean your boat and flush your motor. Beach is just close enough to walk, but you have to cross the road so we drove. Checkin and out was a breeze :)

I never slept well with the very hard queen bed in the front bedroom. We were pleased overall though with the house. We enjoyed grilling on the deck in back. The bacthroon could have had more than one towel rack and possibly a way to hang a wet bathingsuit in the shower. The kitchen was adequate; however, I left a pitcher because it didn't have one. We were mislead to think that the boat slip was right behind our house. We had to lug coolers and fishing/snorkel gear to the north side of the property three houses down to gain access to the dock and then walk back on very uneven wood with nails sticking up to get to our to our assigned slip. It wasn't a major problem, just not ideal for a canal home. My teens loved the Tv's and internet access although it was extremely slow.

We had a great time while in Mexico Beach. It was a big relief for my wife being able to bring our dogs. She always worries about leaving them in a kennel. We found the home
Sunset Harbor to be nice and fairly well mantained. The only issue we had was the carpet upstairs was in need of being cleaned. But other than that i would still highly recommend this home and may possibly stay there again ourselves. -

Columbus, GAA Great Stay at the Nautilus in Mexico Beach
Left on 07/30/2010 for a stay in July 2010
I traveled with my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons; ages 8 months, and 2 years and 8 months. We stayed for four nights at he Nautilus which was perfect for us. It is right on the beach and next to a wonderful pier. We enjoyed fishing off the pier and walking a few steps to the beach. There is a gas station is on the corner and Tommy T's, legendary in Mexico Beach, is steps away where you can purchase anything you need for the beach and get delicious ice cream and snow cones! The location is convenient to everything. The condo was neat and clean and it has a fenced area in the back with a grill and a place to clean fish. Our air conditioning went out on our last day there and could not be repaired. Forgotten Coast found us a place to sleep that night and gave us a small compensation. They were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again!

I stayed at Sunset Harbor with both of my parents. We thourghly enjoyed our stay. It was very nice to be able to have simply the basics in the house. The house was extremly convenient to our primary destination. We extremly enjoy going to the beach on Tyndall side of the canal. It was very convenient. The house did like the fact that the house contained most kitchen necessities, but it did not have some very basic items.

Left on 08/20/2009 for a stay in July 2009
We spent a long through July 5th 2009. We had a blast. We brought our seadoos and really enjoyed the ease and convenience of the dock behind the unit. The fireworks display was awesome and easy to view from the front porch. The neighbors were all friendly and the beach was great.
