The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, pier and Tommy T's.
Great for kids of all ages. The house was very comfortable, plenty of room. We loved it and we are planning on staying again. -

We recently stayed @ the Sea Nest Condo in Mexico Beach. The condo was in clean shape and just as advertised. It was withing walking distance of shops and restaurants. The pier is right outside the door so if you like to fish or just watch and listen to the waves, this place is definitely for you. Nicki was extra helpful to our family. We had an emergency come up and had to change our reservations and she handled the whole ordeal beautifully while saving us money. Thanks Nicki.

This condo is nice. It is on the ocean side of 98. Close to the pier. It was clean, the two king sized beds were comfortable; it had necessities for setting up house. If you want extra room, it has a sun room off the master bedroom that was nicely setup and cool even though the temperature was hot outside. It also included a fenced in patio. The only concerns would be that the upstairs bedroom was a balcony room and we competed with our televisions, but there was a television in every room. It might be a concern for small children that might want to climb on the partial wall. Also, people fish off the pier father out than where most people swim. We would stay here again. We love Mexico Beach!

The location was wonderful...a short walk to the beach! The unit was very good but could use some updating. The stove was our biggest complaint. There was only one large eyelet and it was not level, which made it difficult to cook on. Although most people don't cook that much when they are on vacation, we cooked breakfast every day and found this a major inconvenience. A good non-stick skillet would be a big improvement as well.
I'm not sure if the unit has a separate hot water heater for the upstairs but the second person to shower upstairs ran out of hot water. Thinking there may only be one hot water heater, we tried to economize hot water usage but to no avail.
The beds were very comfortable. In fact, the unit as a whole is very good. With the suggested repairs, we would consider making this vacation home an annual event!
An afterthought, the garbage truck parks outside the unit in the mornings while the driver and attendants go to the convenience store on the corner. Although it is only there about 10-15 minutes, the smell makes it impossible to leave the unit at that time. Of course, we always had something to do outside at that time!

Tuscaloosa, AlabamaOne of the best rentals we have experienced.
Left on 09/23/2011 for a stay in September 2011
The service was great as we arrived on a Sunday and special arrangements were made for us to get the key, etc. Sea Nest is an older rental but is very neat and clean. The king bed on the first floor was the most comfortable bed we have ever had on a vacation. The only downside was the loft bedroom on the second level. Noise from below was a major factor as you could not watch both t.v's at the same time. The upstairs bathroom was quite small and could be a problem for plus size people. Overall, the rental was wonderful and my husband loved the nearness of the peer.

Sea Nest was a great place to stay near the beach. We were looking for some place low key and away from the crowds, and Mexico Beach hit the spot. The condo was walking distance to the beach and pier. My father and husband went down to the Jetty each day to fish, and the locals offered great advice. We went to eat at Port St. Joe--a 15 minute drive that was well worth it for Joe Mama's and Dockside Cafe. It was a great place for families, and we will be back next year for two weeks!

My family expected more than we received. The condo was hot and took many hours to cool down, we didnt have many towels and the sheets on the bed were old. The laundry closet door fell off and cut my husbands leg

Left on 07/15/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I really enjoyed my stay at Sea Nest. It was comfortable, well outfitted and a stone's throw from the white sands of Mexico Beach. I had to check-in very late at night, and the rental agency was kind enough to make that easy. The only negative thing that I encountered was that it was very hard to get a fully itemized bill from the agency when I left. Since I was in town for work, this was a necessity, but will probably apply to very few potential visitors. This place is wonderful, and I highly recommend it.

This was a very nice place however when it rained the entire back area flooded...patio and sun room and we could not use our last day there. Also, I check adn the sun room has mold damage; something that I would suggest needs to be checked.

Birmingham, ALGood location, good value, some comfort issues
Left on 08/04/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Loved the location, easy walking distance from pier and beach. First trip to Mexico Beach and really liked the town. Had issues for the first 20 hours or so with the air conditioning in the unit. First nights stay was miserable...well over 80 degrees indoors. They were responsive to our service calls, but could not get the temp down until the next day.
